  1. Did you get your interview date yet? I hear people who filed in August 2019 nyc getting interview dates.
  2. Not yet. So far, I haven't heard anyone from NYC receiving any interviews since the pandemic started. All other states are moving along except NYC. I'm hoping someone will update us when they receive an interview based from NYC.
  3. My parents filed December 2019 and they are on the same boat. I have a friend who also filed on September 2019 and is still waiting for interview. No update as of yet. NYC is way too slow and no one seems to have any update.
  4. Hello everyone, Is there anyone here who applied for AOS under F2B category? If yes, would you be able to share your experience? My dad applied for citizenship this year, who is waiting for his interview. My priority date is current for next month (August 2020) under F2B and I'm not sure if it would be wise to apply under that category or wait for my dad to become a citizen and apply under F1.
  5. For those of you filing for Adjustment of Status in the month of June. Does this affect you? https://www.rollcall.com/2020/06/12/administration-puts-hold-on-green-card-requests-from-us/ Administration puts ‘hold’ on green card requests from US
  6. So, I got a letter from NVC with Case # and Invoice #. I logged in to CEAC and it's asking me to pay fees. It also states Location of Interview, which is my Home Country. There's seems to be a mistake. I'm residing in the U.S on a work visa and I have no intention to go back. I was hoping to adjust it here. Has anyone faced a similar situation where you're already here in the U.S. but you're interview location is back home. How can I have an interview here in the U.S. instead of having it back in my home country? I've been living in U.S for the last 14 years and haven't been back to my home country
  7. Thank you for your response. My dad sponsored me, so adjusting from F2B
  8. Hello everyone. Need your input. My priority Date is May 14, 2015 F2B Category and approved, which is current for Visa bulletin Filing Dates that is 15 May 2015. I went to a few lawyers and everyone told me that I cannot file AOS until my priority date is current in the Visa Bulletin for Final Action Date that is at 15 Sept, 2014 for the month of March. Lawyers stated that Visa Bulletin Filing Dates are for those who are outside the United States can apply. I've been living in U.S. under a different visa category, hence I should be following the final action dates. 1. I wanted to hear about your experience if you're in the U.S. or not. 2. And what part of the visa bulletin you followed when applying for AOS. Did you follow the Filing dates or the Final action dates? Thanks in advance

  10. Congrats Ankit. Thanks for providing us with an update. Will surely help others who are closer to your priority date.
  11. If you're in the U.S., you have to wait for the letter, give it like 4 weeks starting from the end of March if dates are current in Chart B for you. If you're outside U.S., I believe you have to follow Chart A (Final Action Date) and wait for the letter.
