PATFONT....I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but look at the flip-side: They actioned your file! At least that is a positive. I am not making light of your situation. Just the opposite....We need to stay positive thru this process. Doing the legal route is the way to go. If anything, I would be spitting mad at the lawyer! Where is their legal expertise in this? You made me laugh with the "Jethro" statement...I have to admit!

Stay the course! Get the letters there and keep on your way! Don't stop and refile and start over....that will only extend and cause more pain and heartache!

I can only imagine how frustrated you are, but you can't do nothing else but give them what they are asking for if you want to bring your fiancee here. Hang in there, it does get better.

Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone - we find it with another.

Too bad you didn't know about this site before you filed. It clearly states in the K-1 Guides that you must submit that with your Petition request.

You're just starting out the process, you might want to relax a bit, or you'll have a heart attack before it's over

(quoted post advocating illegal immigration activity removed - VJ Moderation Team)

That's a recipe for disaster. Be pleased you are processing in a way that will ensure that you do not have to keep looking over your shoulder, and that will result in legal status.

I believe they're asking for letters of intent to marry, which are required as part of the I-129F process.

They have it..they have my Plane & Hotel tickets from when I visited her in China..I even sent them a picture & $12,000 Appraisal of The Engagement Ring...This entire process is a Joke..
