Now I'm freakin highly annoyed. Nothing yet. Amanda said they're getting a high influx of mail right now.

Sometimes I wonder if doing things the illegal way would have just been better. I know people who came here illegally, got married and became residents within 2 months of their marriage. Clearly doing the right thing is the wrong way to go about it.

Yup, me too. Looks like we're waiting another week or two for our IV invoice. Bleargh!

Same here...although I called NVC earlier today to ask if I can use the bar coded cover sheet used for AOS and send it with IV packet, the rep told me I can do that, if I don't want to wait to send the IV packet. Because IV bill is pretty much for D260... The only thing is, IV payment won't be invoiced and that along with D260 can be filled out when it becomes available, it's just either way we'll have to wait.

Just in case if you guys haven't sent out IV packet yet

For all those looking for flights (now or for the future), I find the "google flights" has really good fares... the best I've found, at least for us from the Caribbean to the US west coast. At the top of your search results, it will even give you suggestions on how to get a cheaper flight (i.e. leave a day later or leave from another airport nearby). It also has a really awesome calendar that has a graph at the bottom showing which days have the lowest fares for the selected route, which is good for us because we won't have to leave on any specific day after we get the visa, just which ever day has the cheapest flight!

You can find it at https://www.google.com/flights/

Enjoy! I hope it helps someone find a cheap flight!

This is good! Thanks for sharing!

No news. Agent May was very friendly. She said the AOS hasn't been reviewed, she couldn't give me specifics on where they were on dates, but she said they will be reviewed "very soon" and said to keep out for either a real or false checklist (after we both acknowledged the package they received on May 16th is my IV).

I asked about interview scheduling, she says they have a capacity amount for each Embassy each month and once that capacity is reached, they close scheduling for the month and once they receive the new capacity they start scheduling for the next monh.

Sooo I asked if we miss the July cut off, who do I beg to get earlier scheduling and she said that would be through the Embassy. She acknowledged their backlog and I told her that most of us who call non-stop were caught in the USCIS backlog and we've been without our spouses for a very long time, we're tired and frustrated. She wished me a case complete soon! :-)

Finally, Interview scheduled for 09-Jul.

A little later than what I was wishing for, but I'll take it!

I will work with the consulate in Casablanca once they get the case to try to move it to an earlier date, hopefully a late June date.

Who knows?

Congrats... Finally!

Man! NVC got so you so wound up, you almost beg for something to keep you fretting. :)

Hope you get a June slot after all.

Please help! I am so frustrated. I am filling out the ds260 and I am at the part asking for secondary school details. My husband just told me that although he did finish high school and graduated they only show him going through to second year/ sophomore year. He has tried to get this fixed before but they have him run around so much he gave up. Now that I was asking him the details he recalled the issue and says he can go back to his hometown maybe in a month to try to resolve I am just so frustrated I do not

Want to hold up this process any longer . Should I just input that he finished two years at that school and then if he is able to get the issue fixed and get the actual diploma just bring it to the interview

I wouldn't claim getting a high school diploma without some kind of proof in hand. It can turn ugly today or years from now.

I would put two years and move on, until the issue is fixed.

PS. If you can document he has college/training that required high school diploma, then that should be proof enough, I think.

I ask questions and try to engage in a conversation, but no one ever wants to chat it up with me.

I'm past sad. Now I'm angry!! It makes people bitter.

This is the first time I got an Agent to really engage. I followed LoveMyTico's advice and acted confused! And I was, they told me on Friday my AOS was under review and then on Tuesday it wasn't!

I also thanked her for talking to me and said I know customer service jobs are tough because people are calling upset and tired with the constant delays and I'm sure she gets the brunt of it. That seemed to go a long way, too in getting more engagement!
