it is exactly 90 days today that i received my NOA1, 10 days past the estimated rime frame that VJ said I should likely get my NOA2, and VJ says that TSC is currently processing K-1 with and NOA date of 2/10/13; my NOA1 is 1/31/14.

Do i call and look for an update? what specifically should i ask? or do i not rock the boat and wait another month???

any advice would be awesome.

If you are from New York, isn't your service center Vermont? They have a wait time of 5 months for I-129F petitions....

i would not rely on the VJ estimates - esp for TSC! there have been a lot of expedites for Philippines filers and other data entry errors that are skewing the results....and the estimates do not represent the wait time for the normal filer.

i'm in the same boat as you...january TSC filer with a cuban fiance. i would expect TSC to take the full 5 months to process your application (5 months is the processing time USCIS has published on their website). i'm at 117 days today and have not received any updates on my application since the ARN number was changed a few days after my NOA1 date. :( i have not called USCIS for an update. I don't think it would hurt but i honestly don't think it will help either. from what i have read on these threads...the customer service reps at TSC are not very friendly or helpful if your application is still within the normal 5 month processing time. try to stay positive! there are a lot of TSC filers waiting - so at least you know you're not alone. :)

Hi!!! Look for the TSC K1 january 2014 filers thread on this forum, you will find more info. Most of us (january filers ) are still waiting.

It seems like they are still processing november and december at TSC... I got my hopes up to for an early approval, it's been 90 days for us too.

VJ timelines are only an estimate based off of information from people who fill out their timelines on this site, which is only a very small percentage of actual applicants. I would not base any expectations of approval off of it.

You can certainly call and inquire, but they're going to tell you to call back in 4 1/2 months if you still haven't heard anything by then. They will not do anything or you under 6 months, as you're still in the normal processing timeframes.

Don't rely to estimate processing time on VJ. It is a unreliable and only based from people who are updated their timelines and what worst is many of them are not accurately filled it out.

Makes no difference if you are closer to it. Vermont has not been processing I-129F petitions for almost a year now. http://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/workload-transfer-various-forms

The only two service centers that process them currently are the TSC and the CSC. Processing times listed for the TSC state 5 months > https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-1 Progress Reports - topic is case status ~

You are still well within normal processing times. They won't do anything until you have passed both their reported processing date AND you are at the 6 month mark (normal processing time of 5 months plus 30 days).
