Affidavits are only secondary evidence, if that's all you sent then it is most likely for primary evidence like boarding passes, passport stamps, things that actually prove you have been together in the same place at the same time. There is no way to know for sure until you get the RFE, and no way anyone here can tell you.

I am the beneficiary, My husband can send the stamps on passport, wedding pictures, western union fund transfer to me..etc

Yes we only had affadavits.. No bank accts etc. I am here in pak and he lives in US.. and we have not married for a long time. He went to US just after a few days, his family lives in US too so we didnt stay together after our wedding. They had to leave!

But we have also sent our marriage certificate.. is that not an evidence for being together in the same place at the sametime? with wedding pics?

It's best to send photos of you together from different times/places, not just your wedding. Anyone can have a wedding. Also chat logs and/or phone records during times where you have been apart.

Ummm re-read your original post, you stated you did NOT send pictures. The marriage certainly proves you were together once, it doesnt prove have had an ongoing relationship.Your original post clearly states you sent nothing but affidavits. Then in a subsequent post you contradicted yourself. The fact is you need primary evidence, proof that you met more than once, proof that you have an ongoing, bonafide relationship. Don't shoot the messenger.

This isn't a K1 you are applying for where yo just have to show you meet and were in the same place dear. You have to prove you are in a bonafide relationship. Affidavits should only have to be used to back up all the other evidence.

All you mentioned your husband sending you for interview should have been in your petition evidence. You aren't going through the UK or Canada embassy that you don't need all that.

Of course until you get your RFE in mail you won't know. No need to worry and wonder and guess, Just be patiently and wait.

Yes - good answer

In my opinion it certainly could be because you didn't include any pics, or it could be a simple spelling mistake or something!

You should be overjoyed that you got the RFE, it means they're ACTUALLY working on your file, and once you send in whatever they're asking for, it won't be long before approval!

Mmmmmm

On the one hand- bummer I am sorry that you got a RFE. sad.png

On the other hand, I am jealous that you got RFE, at least that mean they looked at your paperwork and I still have not heard nothing about mine. At this point, I almost want to get RFE so at least I know they are looking at it. (really I don't want a RFE but that thought crossed my mind a few times)

RFE can be anything, it can be as simple as a missing signature or it can be that they need more proofs. Nobody here can help you figure it out before you get it in the mail. All we can do now is give you emotional support.

Thanks for the info, I'm still waiting on my NOA2, but I have a feeling I'll get an RFE after reading posts like this. I don't think it'll be a big deal, like the previous poster said, its good they are active with your file, and should get things approved after you send them whats needed. Good luck, hang in there.

On a site note, can a person submit more "evidence" prior to getting the NOA2 or RFE? I'm about 8 months in, maybe better to just wait and see if they actually need more information.
