Saylin, i have my interview this Sunday.

the IV package was sent with DS 230(while they were still accepting em'), so the one i will be taking to the interview( extra copy) will be the old ds 230 as that is what i also submitted to NVC

will this be OK?? just bit concerned...

It should be as your IV package was sent before the Sept 1st policy change.

Called NVC yesterday and they said it takes 15 business days for case to be uploaded into their system.

Called NVC yesterday and they said it takes 15 business days for case to be uploaded into their system.

They said it will be 10 - 20 days. Been calling almost every other day since NVC received our files October 22 but still no luck. Hope I will be lucky next week to get our case number.

Guys I have been sending emails to NVC four times already...... do they reply to emails or just phone calls only? Been trying to get hold of them for us to have our case number.

They'll reply, but it may take a week or two. It'd be faster if you just called, and stopped emailing them.

Called and the kind gentleman answering the call, informed me that a mail have been added to my casefile but could not see what it was- which I know is our packages as they were received a couple of days prior to me calling. So to count 30 days - praying it will be all going through by the end of November and an interview date early December. Praying for Christmas. Praying.

I'm praying with you, dance. We're also hoping for something by Christmas...even though I know it's very hopeful at this point. Fed-Ex told me they had an "operational error" today and our documents are stuck in Paris. They were supposed to be here so I can send them to NVC on Monday. It's a glitch, so I'm trying to stay calm...but I know that with each day ticking towards Christmas, this gets less likely. Hopefully everything is going to go smooth and quickly for you! Good luck!

Thanks Saylin I guess you are right. Its sometimes frustrating to be on hold for 30minutes just to be able to talk with NVC representative. Recently im lucky enough to go through less than five minutes. Hope next week we will hear good news from them. They always say it will take 10 - 20 days before our case will show in their system. Fingers cross......we still waiting and doing our best to have more patience and keep on praying.
