not really..

we used prometido and prometida..

we never refereed to each other has husband and wife.. i told her the at K1 interview NOT to allow the CO to refer to us as married or husband/wife.. the CO actually did ask about "her husband".. Rossana immediately corrected the CO.. SEVERAL times.. trying to catch a slip up

if you start throwing around that word, and it becomes second nature.. it could cause problem, if the CO catches you making that mistake during interview..

so be cautious..

As we see here on VJ pretty regularly, what's "fine" in some countries is a major problem in others. Just because you were approved while using the improper terms on FB doesn't mean others from higher-fraud countries will have the same success.

Or people's faults that they can't even provide enough evidence to prove that their relationships are legit and make consuls and embassies supicious enough to look at people's stuff through so many things.

so if there something we dont want others to see we should delete it?

isnt that a breach of privacy?

Why would it be a breach of privacy? Social networks are not private, and when it comes to immigration the US has the right to know every last detail about an impending immigrants life, it is in many cases a matter of national security. In this day and age it amazes me that people think they have a right to privacy if they want in to this country. Have you seen or read the news lately?

LOL calling your fiance/fiancee 'hubby/wifey' is fine. I call him like that on fb and you know what? I just got approved at the interview.

For the record, it's not "hubby/wifey", it is husband and wife. As members have stated before, those titles are RESERVED for those who are married. Adults and consulates understand and acknowledge that concept. Just because you got approved does not make it applicable for everyone else/other parts of the world. It's best not to mislead others into potentially digging themselves into a hole.
