:crying: I need help please when I check my case status online at /ceac.state.gov

they show me that messssge please I don't understand it what is this ? can anyone tell me please this im so worried about it :crying:

Case Creation Date: 13-Feb-2009

Status Updated Date: 02-Apr-2013

Section 203(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act requires that your registration be canceled and any petition approved on your behalf canceled, if you do not apply for your immigrant visa within one year of being advised to do so.

You were advised of this requirement over 1 year ago, but we have not received a response from you since then. As a result, your application for a visa has been canceled and any petition approved on your behalf has also been canceled.

Your application may be reinstated and any petition revalidated if, within one year, you can establish that your failure to pursue your immigrant visa application was due to circumstances beyond your control. Please provide a written statement to the Embassy or Consulate outlining the circumstances beyond your control and noting that you still wish to pursue this

Your petition has been canceled, you were told to contact them but you did not. Contact the embassy or consulate telling them why you could not contact them and that you still want the visa.

Looks like your petition has been approved some time ago but you never applied for a visa. It is possible you never receive the letter so sis not know to act on it. Contact your embassy right away, as per the instructions at the end of the letter!

they know i am still waiting for my visa ... they put me on AP 16 month aslo ... they know i am still waiting i just send email to them i am still waiting for my visa :crying:

It sounds like you've been misinformed or you have misunderstood something along the way. The note you post above says that they had approved your petition a year ago and you didn't do anything about it. I'd go back over your other correspondance with them and contact your local consulate.

the OP does keep on top of it, that is how they found out about the erroneous update.

USCIS doesn't have your case now. Go with what the Embassy says.

I would still write a letter with explanation of my wait, and stay in touch with them the next 12 mths. You want to cover your behind in case there's error from who you

spoke to, plug all holes, send them a certified letter of everything even the new info you just got, send it certified for signature confirmation...if its in AP no harm done..

If its not you snooze...you lose.
