Oh dear, don't cry too much, it will stress you more. Take it easy. Must be a reason why he admitted. God knows!

Some people just couldn't bear to LIE, no matter how much you "coach" them into it. At least he was honest and a man enough to admit what he truly did.

I notice that you have waited 10 months now for your NOA-2. did you both do anything to speed it up?

Sammie, I know there are a lot of people who have already commented and idk if someone has already told u this because I don't have time to read all of these posts but...

When my husband had his medical done the dr gave him the sealed envelope and a copy of the medical exam paper for his records. If they didn't give it to you, call the office and ask for it. You can request a copy.

Also, honestly I don't think it is going to be a big deal. People are now being able to have less than a certain amount of weed on them nowadays. I don't think it's a big deal.

Yeah telling the truth! Maybe the 1-yr ban will be his escape route of not wanting to join you sooner?

You attribute it to stupidity, but underneath that could be other motivation(s)?

agreed, it would definitely raise my suspicions......

I know my case is different but I know how it feels to be worry about telling the truth. My now husband and I are related (we are 3rd cousins). When we decided to get married and applied for a k1 visa, we first went to an immigration lawyer (we didn't know anything about visajourney then) and when she was checking our case, she dumped our I129 f saying that we CAN'T say we are cousins. She destroyed ALL our forms and basically she started filling a new ones, full of a bunch of lies. Even when she created a whole perfect story, in our heart we felt, we were doing so wrong! I knew it was very very wrong. Even when already paid her like $300 just to begin (she wanted to charged us $1500 for take our case), we decided to destroy what she did and start from the scratch. That's when we found visajourney. Against all odds and against her adviced (and many people advices) we decided to do the right thing and tell the truth no matter what. When she found out she almost made fun of us, saying that we're not gonna make it. I was like "will see". We could stick to our lie cause he is a white blond and blue eyes 5'11 and I'm dark hair, dark skin 5'5 girl. Against all odds our process took only 7 month to be done, we had a great interview (the CO didn't care about us being related) and I've almost a year since I came here. We've no issues. My point is that sometimes doing the right thing is not always the easiest thing, sometimes, the right thing to do us against our common sense. Maybe he could had lie and nobody will noticed it, but, I truly think that God is watching us all the time. Pray, pray hard... I do believe in miracles

Are you sure that he is not playing with you? I cannot believe he would tell the doctor that. And even if he did it was 4 years ago.

Are you sure you want to marry someone with the smarts to say something like that? During the interview he might tell them about a murder he committed 10 years ago. It's hard to believe someone would talk about that unless in their country it isn't illegal. Then I guess I could see it as not being a big deal. I wouldn't worry it's just weed, it's almost legal now in the US so I highly doubt denial because of it.

If he did something dumb, that was smoking weed 4 years ago, or whenever he did that. Certainly not telling the truth when he was supposed to. I am somehow astonished by the fact that many people here are advocating lies and criticize this guy for telling the truth.
