Hi !

Question

Got married Jan 03 2013 Sent I-130 and recieved NOA1 with priority date 11th Feb. I'm currently at University in England (my home country) and will be graduating in June after which I plan to leave as soon as humanly possible because I miss my husband and would like to spend my bithday with him :) ...

Sooo from what I've read on here it doesnt seem too likely that we will recieve the NOA2 anytime soon and get my visa intime for me to go in June. [i will be going over in June if I don't get a visa in time anyway, my plan was to go on the visa waiver programme and come back after the 90 days and sort out the rest of the visa stuff (asumming it would have moved along abit by then)]. BUT I've noticed alot of stuff about the I-485 which i wasnt aware of before ....

SO my question is would I be able to file the I-485 whilst I was there visiting, would it move things along quicker, so that I wouldnt have to go back to England? - :( we've already spent soo much time apart because I've had to finish school I don't think I could really cope with having to spend more time away ...

Thanks !

01/14/10 - Met whilst I was studying abroad

03/01/13 - Married (officially)

02/08/13 - Sent I-130 to Pheonix Lockbox

02/11/13 - I-130 delivered

02/13/13 - NOA1 hard copy

04/08/13 - NOA2 Email !!!

04/12/13 - NOA2 hard copy

No, that would be fraud. You can not enter on a VWP with the intention of filing a I-485.

Also, I don't think it would speed it up much. In my opinion, you are better off waiting on the I-130/CR1 to finish up. It could end up going more quickly than you think it will.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Just found this forum for the Feb folks! My priority date is Feb 11. I mailed it from Sydney (where I live with my husband) and it was sent to the NBC, so I'm interested to see how long it will take. Nothing is online yet, but from what I've read that's normal. Anyway, I guess it's just a waiting game now!

My timeline is showing an approval between May 8 and June 2. Thats pretty quick for MBC. How reliable is that? Usually the timeline is pretty reliable when using the regular service centers (VSC and CSC) but what about now with the MBC?

I know it depends on your Local office and the amount of petitions it has. My local office has about 3,500 pending since Dec.

It's intresting to see how many dec and Jan petitions are getting approved from the NBC.

Hi February friends! I thought I would share my dream from last night with you guys because only I-130 filers would understand this...

So last night I dreamed that I got an email from USCIS that my I-130 had been transferred from NBC to Nigeria...why Nigeria? I have no idea!!! When I called them to yell at them, they told me that I would have to make an InfoPass appointment in Nigeria to get my I-130 back. So I flew by myself all the way to Nigeria to do this, and got attacked by crazy people on my way to the office... and then I woke up.

I can't believe I'm starting to have crazy dreams about this process!! Hope that gave you a smile for the morning
