Just a quick update - our fee was deducted today from our bank - that bit only took 3 days exactly !! LOL!!

Great news! Im still waiting for any activity on mine. I keep checking my bank account now and then. Since its nearing the end of the day, I think things well push through on Monday (I hope and Pray). Good Progress man. Keep the good fight going.

Thanks! I will definitely post all info. I didn't even know we would check our status online! How do we do that? After the NOA1? I'm kinda hopeless at this whole thing!

Just letting you know they say to expect a 30-45 day wait from your NOA1 until your case can be seen online.

After typing in your receipt number, it will say "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

. It's been 22 days for me and still no case status :/

My husband realized that the "missing" documents had been there all along. Husband immediately mailed it back.

02/26/2014-Consular office received "missing" documents and gave it to CO for review

03/17/2014-Visa Issued!

I got my NOA1 real fast. My check cleared on Feb 12 ( bank statement) , priority date is Feb.07.

Notice date says Feb. 11.

Receipt number can be checked online now and it says under review.

Been married 5+ years though .

I'm hoping for NOA2 soon.

Has anyone else noticed that the above message has disappeared from the USCIS website?

We ve been NOA1 for 17 days now and still nothing on the website...

I think with our first I-130 it took 5 weeks to show up online. :thumbs:

I just checked mine, the 30-45 day notice is gone, I wonder why? I got my NOA1 email a couple of days after we submitted the I-130 and my case status showed up online a couple of days after that, the eternal initial review!! I've heard that the online case status only depends on how thorough the person accepting your file is, so I wouldn't worry, it's in the queue just like everyone else :) I can't wait for the first February filer to say they received their NOA2 :D

My husband only just scanned a copy of our NOA1s and emailed them to me. Surprisingly I saw that our priority date is Feb 8th and not 13th as I initially thought! We ve gained 5 days :)

I just checked mine, the 30-45 day notice is gone, I wonder why? I got my NOA1 email a couple of days after we submitted the I-130 and my case status showed up online a couple of days after that, the eternal initial review!! I've heard that the online case status only depends on how thorough the person accepting your file is, so I wouldn't worry, it's in the queue just like everyone else :) I can't wait for the first February filer to say they received their NOA2 :D

Thanks Jenny, though it does worry me a tad that the person accepting our files may not be as thorough as some others!

I got the NOA1 text/notification Wednesday Morning (Feb. 27) and my I-130 case was available online a few hours later when I checked. My paper NOA1 came in today.

I don't know whether to hope it stays at the NBC and gets processed or gets transferred to the local office in my area. According to the Dec. update on the website my local office has 3,500 pending petitions and with each month's update it is steadily rising. By the time the Feb. update shows up on the website, the local office could have 5,000 pending I-130 petitions.

I was reading from the January Filers that a lot of them could not view it online...I guess mine ended up in that same pile since my NOA1 was early February. I kinda wish I could see it even though I would see "initial review" for quite some time haha.

Hoping my case stays at NBC since Washington, D.C. is my local office and they seem swamped. If your local office is somewhere that rarely gets immigrants you will have a better chance of getting approved super fast. I read somewhere else on another forum here that someone in Pittsburgh and someone else in Kentucky were approved pretty quickly!

I feel exactly the same way! I wish We could also get the "Initial Review" instead of "your file number is not recognised".

I am actually starting to have panic attacks in the middle of the night. I really wasn t expecting that!
