I need some insight and support guys.

Ive been following some of you with your posts and timelines, and quite a few of you received your NOA2 fairly quickly after the NOA1.

We still havent though:*( im starting to get nervous. We didnt get any RFEs or anything either which is a good thing obviously but

the fact the NOA2 isnt here yet is making me wonder have they or are they even looking at our petition? Ive called once recently, but

got the automated system which basically said the same thing that I see on the website, which says we're in the initial review stage.

IM NERVOUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSS AND SCAREEDDD :*(((

pleaseee tell me this usually how long it takes and I have nothing to worry about :( but than why are others' petitions being accepted

so quickly?:( not that I have a problem with them uniting as soon as possible but I would like to have my baby here with me like years ago:(

i dont know what to do how to chill or uggghhhhhhhhhhh is how I feel actually :( is there a number that I can call and talk to an actual person, not a damn machine.

Thank you for listening and any informative and supportive comments will be appreciated :(

First, calm down.

When did you receive the NOA1? It takes on average 5-6 months for the petition to be adjudicated, so you're still within the regular timeframe.

It seems like it takes longer when they end up sending you an RFE. That's what I've observed based on my experience and others'. Kind of silly, though. Why not get the word out your evidence is insufficient sooner rather than later?

If you would fill out your timeline, you can get an approximate date for adjudication. Which service center did you file with? It has been taking a little longer than the promised 5-6 months lately, more like 6 or 7, and that hasn't a thing to do with whether or not you might get and RFE. Both centers have been slow lately.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Good friends took just over 10 months, no RFE and he was military also. It will take as long as it takes. No news, RFE-wise, is just fine.

You need to fill in your timeline with the correct information. You currently have the country as Armenia and going through the Texas Service Center. It should be Turkey and then either California Service Center or Vermont Service Center.

Hi...Our NOA1 date was 16th May 2012. We were so upset that there was no news about NOA2. Just today we have been approved. So, it took 7.5 months. So, look forward and it will come.

Best of luck,

Regards.

Hello there, here for support :) Our NOA1 was Feb 1st and NOA2 was Oct 2nd, 2012 by VSC. No RFEs. We did contact the congressman, but not sure if that helped at all. & Filed a service request with USCIS as well. Again, it's just a waiting game. Hang in there!

One thing we missed was that we were so focused on NOA2, that we weren't very ready to move forward once it arrived. So I'd suggest finding out about documents you need for the Packet 3. Good luck!

From NOA1 to interview, our K-1 journey took 317 days to complete.

You can view our timeline & embassy review on this link here.

AOS, here we come.

 Great point! Everyone wants the NOA2, but there are so many "Okay, so now what?" threads posted almost daily. OP, be sure you and your fiancé are ready for the next steps in this process.
