received eamil from the consulate on july 22 requesting his passport and one doc that was not signed. We were able to send it about a week later. 8/6/13, checked the CEAC website, VISA ISSUED, WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! |

there was no interview. Got email notification on july 19 that his card was in production, than on the 21st it went in reverse to 'registered permanent resident status' update, than back to card production to which I got 3 notifications on the same day. received the WELCOME TO AMERICA letter on July 26. and the card on the 28th. had received an email on 25 per the card has mailed out and been picked up by USPS, giving the tracking number. And also on the 28 got the txt and email notification that it had been delivered.
THANK YOU ALLAH THAT THIS PROCESS IS OVER. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE READING THIS AND LOOKING FOR SOME CLUES AS TO HOW THEIR TIMELINES WILL PROGRESS. JUST KEEP PRAYING, THAT IS THE ONLY THING THT WILL KEEP YOU SANE AND YOUR HOPES UP, PRAY THAT IT WILL GO SMOOTHLY AND WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. GOOD LUCK. |

WENT TO APPLY FOR HIS LICENSE THE NEXT DAY OR SO BUT HIS INFO WASNT IN THE SYSTEM YET SO THEY REQUESTED IT AND GAVE ME A WEBSITE ADDRESS TO TRACK WHEN THEY WILL HAVE THEIR REQUEST ANSWERED BY THE 'SAVE' PEOPLE, WHICH HAPPENED THE NEXT DAY, THEY ALSO CALLED US FROM DMV AS WELL TO LET US KNOW WE CAN GO AHEAD AND APPLY FOR THE LICENSE NOW. ON THE 20TH, HE TOOK THE PERMIT TEST, AND GOT HIS LICENSE THE SAME DAY. |
