I started harassing VSC about 2 weeks after my 6 months mark.. I got in a service request and got approved a week later. It seems they are even slower now.. I know the waiting sucks but you have nothing to lose by attempting a tier 2 service request a little after 6 months. Hang in there!!!!

According to your timeline and the VJ estimate, you are right on schedule. Hang in there a little longer and start your preparation for the next steps. Get everything prepared because it can move quite fast after it leaves USCIS control. Just a little longer, but you are not late yet.

Every case is different, 7 months plus expecially from the middle east. Hang in there.

It is true about the MENA countries but it really is discrimination. I understand the need to scrutinize these petitions but my goodness it shouldn't be any different than any other country.

May God bless and keep you always~ May your wishes all come true~ May you always do for others~ And let others do for you~

May you build a ladder to the stars~ And climb on every rung~May you stay forever young

Hi Everyone,

I sent my I 129F on June 1, 2012 and i received the email today with my K1 approval. Waited 212 days for my status to go from initial review to approved.

I promised to myself i was going to make a VJ account on the day that i received the email with my NOA2 :D
