Bank called this morning, I got the job!!! Background check went well, they said I have no credit and there is basically nothing wrong they can find on me so I am good to go. OMG, I am sooooooo happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and don't give up hope. It took me 3 weeks after I received my EAD. I walked in in all the banks, took employment applications from all of them and did a follow up after a week, in person, in the bank. I got 2 face to face interviews in one week and one offered me a job.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

what bank position? I am from banking field too, can you give me salary range in banking position here in US?

Congrats!!

Salary can vary depending on what state you live in. if you are in some places in the midwest per example and making $10/hr that might seem like decent money but that that same $10, in NY, or LA, or San Francisco it's not even peanuts.

Salary can vary depending on what state you live in. if you are in some places in the midwest per example and making $10/hr that might seem like decent money but that that same $10, in NY, or LA, or San Francisco it's not even peanuts.

I agree, I also think there are better opportunities in bigger cities, unfortunately I am in a little one in the middle of nowhere lol so I am happy I found something, I am sure once I have more experience here and USA references I will be able to find something better, in time it will get better, maybe we even move

That's great! It also took my husband 3 weeks to get a job after receiving his SSN. Contratulations! WE ARE ALSO VERY HAPPY!
