If anyone has it, could you please provide me with any info so I know how to go about filing for an expedite and what I need to do? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Oh, and I'm nearly at the 5 month mark from my NOA1 notification, but it seems like VSC is moving so slowly; would it be worth filing for an expedite at this point, or could that potentially slow things down if we're about to get approved?

It can't hurt to ask. It helps to have a legitimate reason.

You can do a Google search for the criteria.

I'm aware of that, when did I say I want to expedite just for the fun of it? The reason is for a serious medical situation, thanks....

Fair enough... some people are so quick to jump to conclusions. Unless you pour your heart out, seems no one can give you a straight answer sometimes.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I do empathise. Best of luck (F)

Make sure you have doctors letters explaining the medical issue, and why it needs to be your fiance who must be there for you, not a relative who can drive you to hospital or whatever.

technically, your topic says "due to health concerns" not "a serious medical situation" so I'm sure that is why people were quick to jump in.....

just saying....

best of luck... hope that the health issues are treatable and everyone will be ok
