I just created an account at uscis.com and found out that the last time my case was touched was 03/30/2011!!

Guys, do you think it's ok or should I worry? Could they have lost our application? Or have forgotten about it?

When my husband calls VSC they just tell us to wait.

I don't know what to do and even what to think...

09/09/2009 met and had been happily dating for almost a year when my husband (bf at that time) won in a green card lottery. By that time he divorced from his ex-wife, and I graduated from the university and had obligatory job placement in Belarus for 2 years on.
11/19/2010 got married. In about a month he left for the US and applied for family reunification.
03/24/2011 Priority Date
04/08/2013 NOA2

06/14/2013 Case Completed

I know that they haven't been approving anyone lately, but I thought they shuold at least CONSIDER cases, perform some work and analysis on them, put them from one shelf to another... anything!

Hello,

As long they don't have the processing date later than your actual priority date, they will keep saying that case still under normal processing time brother...in all the attempts i have made, they always come with the same thing.

Good luck with all of us !!!!

Hi jrh39

did u call uscis? what did they say?

Our Priority Date is June 16 2011. It's been 17 months and 4 days, and we have not received our NOA 2. Priority Date for Dec is 22nd Aug 2010. F2A approvals are stuck at Jan 23rd 2011. the total gap between Priority Date and F2A approval is 5 months.

I think it's time they start moving forward with F2A approvals because after that they have to send it to NVC for further processing and they take time too.

My only worry is what if our priority date is current in future and we are still stuck in this I130 processing mess.

I wish I had applied for a visit visa for my wife before we got married. because now she is not even eligible to apply for a visit visa as she has already showed her intention to immigrate to USA.

Has any F2A filer's I130 is approved by Vermont with the priority date after Jan 23rd 2011 ???

Citizenship (2014):

May-10-2014.... Application mailed out , through USPS express mail.

May-12-2014.... Application package delivered.

May-15-2014.....Check Cashed by USCIS

June-02-2014....Biometrics (walk in) syracuse field office

June-04-2014....Actual Biometrics appointment date

June-04-2014....in line for interview scheduling

Aug -19-2014....Interview

I just called USCIS and asked how long it may take to get approved. The officer said the approximate time to get approval, from today, is 149 days which is around more 5 months. Its still long waiting...

So it would take almost 2 years to get NOA 2? By that time, our i130 should already be with NVC.

Hi,

I have filed my I-130 for my spouse (F2A) with a priority date of Feb 14 2011 with the Vermont Service Center. As you all know they're still officially processing stuff in January 2011. I still didnt get my NOA2.

Today, I got emails from NVC asking for the choice of agent and the AOS fee.

So my question is, how is this possible? Doesn't NVC contact me after I-130 is approved? Is it possible that my I-130 is approved and that the website simply doesn't show it?

Thanks for your help

Hi Sajid6695

Yes, it means you are approved. Unless, someone is approved, NVC does not contact. You can correspond USCIS with NVC case no. Alternatively, check your case status in online.

Hope and pray VSC will move faster and bring us good news soon. May Allah bless us all.
