I am ready to concede surrender and stop using the Politics and Religion forum. It has decayed to the point that the ONLY threads left are bait posts by Arab sympathizers to irritate Israeli sympathizers OR bait posts by Israeli sympathizers to irritate Arab sympathizers OR posts by atheists to irritate Christians OR posts by Christians to irritate athiests

Can we please have a seperate "religion forum" and get this off to the side so some of the others can have discussions without being shoved off the page by copied post after copied post for some religious nonsense? OR move it back to Off topic where it was. The prblem is that some people actually think religion IS politics and unless it is clearly delineated these 3 or 4 people who think anyone else really gives a rat's @ss will simply come and dominate another forum.

Then those 3 or 4 members can take their never ending copied and pasted religious nonsense someplace all by themselves.

What concerns me is not that but that it seems to push everything off the page quickly as they all just cut and paste news articles from other sources. If those sources are there, then go there and read them, what do we need that in VJ for also? But you have to hack through all the BS to get back to a thread you posted in just a few hours ago not because there are so many interesting topics, but because 3 or 4 members take over the entire forum and use it to reproduce posts from elsewhere on the internet.

Really? Then why have any separate forums? Why not just one big forum for all topics and let the smart people figure out which is the topic they want to read?

Clearly there have been enough Religion topics started to justify their own category. I would imagine that smart people look at the different genre of topics and determine which areas need their own forum based on the amount of topics started. Religion is well into that area of having enough to be all by itself as a category of interest.
