SO MANY PEOPLE GOT APPROVAL FROM USCIS EVEN THEY FILLED PETITION LATER FROM US.

THIS IS VERY UNFAIR DECISION OF THE USCIS I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE DOING THIS.I THINK WE SHOULD ALL TOGETHER MAKE COMPLAINT TO GOVT ABOUT THIS.

I WANT TO KNOW OTHER'S OPINION IN THIS MATTER SO PLEASE ADD YOUR SUGGESTIONS.

Please try to be patient. I know I was not.

But I always try to remember I cannot complain until 5 months passed. Mine came after 3.5 months. It was the hardest wait. I seen others approved who applied after me. But, I remembered a passage from the Bible that states a story that Jesus offered men to come work tomorrow and He will pay them. Some people arrived at 6am and some arrived at 6pm. Jesus paid them all the same. The people who worked since 6am became mad. Jesus said why are you mad....You got what I promised. So, in the end most of us will get what is ours... even if others get a better deal, we knew what we were signing up for.

Good luck

It isn't a decision they are making. Sometimes people who file earlier get approval later, and it has always happened this way. There were people who filed 3 months after we did that were approved in less than 20 days. There were people who were approved after we were that went to interview weeks ahead of us, because we were in the first group of K1 filers submitted to extra scrutiny on AP.

Perhaps it would help to understand that each case is adjudicated on it's own merit. Petitions are processed to start with in the order they arrive with USCIS, and after that each one goes it's own way. It depends on many factors, who gets through first and who waits. Things like how straightforward a petition is, which center you file with, as sometimes one or the other has a bigger backlog, that sort of thing.

The people who post here, and you see in the monthly filers lists, or on Igors list, are only a small percentage of the petitions they receive to process. It takes time.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Depending on center what center you submitted, who opened your application, and how thoroughly they check can be a big difference.

Also, some immigration officials take their time and more due diligence if the paperwork isn't organized or well put together. Regardless,

i say be patient, and you your decision will come shortly. No one gets special treatment from USCIS. All are equal, and most important criteria

which you control is how through and well documented your case is, which makes their jobs alot easier.

Also, to complain or raising alarm b/c your Visa hasn't been approved yet, isn't going to help. Be patient.. all in good time.

Good luck.

You are barely 3 months in to the process so there is nothing to complain about yet. Yes some people who filed after you have been approved, but I can tell you many many times more people filed before you and are still waiting and many many more people had to wait 7, 8 or 9 months just to get through USCIS. As others have said, you need to be more patient for this process. Rather than blaming the government for being to slow for your case, you should blame all of those people who have tried to cheat the system in the past (and still try to cheat the system) and have caused each case to be scrutinized that much more.

Excellent point.. It's the cheaters and ppl who try to deceive the system which is the real cause of concern and backlog which hampers quicker processing of applications.

Due to the heavy volume of petitions there is no way to accurately estimate the time each of us will have to wait to receive our NOA2. This is because the individuals here on VJ only make up a small percentage of the actual load of cases iled at each service center. Therefore, all of us who are still waiting and see others who filed after us are quite upset. It is very disheartening to see this taking place. Also, calling NCSC is useless for the most part. I would just advise you to wait until you reach the 5 month mark and then file a service request on your case or even a congress inquiry. This is what the NCSC avised me to do on my case. I pray niether of us have to hit that 5 month mark.

Yep, lots of April and May Filers are still waiting for their petitions to be approved - including my fiance and I. You are right, it's not fair. And it does make me angry at times. But as there is nothing we can do but wait, it's best to keep yourself busy, try to stay positive and not to take it personally. Don't fight it because it will only make you go crazy...just go with the flow. I think this process is the Universe's way of teaching me patience. Stay strong! :)

I think i saw this same post last year.

There are people that have waited 9+ months just to get their petition approved. I really do wish you the best of luck complaining to the Government about this. Thats like throwing a piece of toilet paper at a freight train. I would be sure to wad it up in a ball first.

My advice if you are interested is to not waste your time. It is impossible to get a message through to your adjucator in the VSC, unless of course you are best friends with the person adjucating your petition. The processing time for a K-1 petition is 5 months. Don't expect it until then. If you do, you will drive yourself crazy. You are dealing with a government agency that is way under staffed and has a mountain of petitions on their desk. All you are is a bunch of paperwork to them. They don't care how pissed off you get because you haven't been approved in 3 months. Take some melatonin and relax, you still have 60 days before they will even think about possibly allowing a service request on your case.
