Anyone eat at "Five Guys Burger & Fries" before?

Been there. Not impressed. Won't go back.

Might as well throw the beef in the garbage rather than prepare a burger or steak on a flat grill. I'm buying a burger and their selling toppings.

Fries are supposed to have a crunch. Are they serving fries or pasta? I'm not sure.

All in all...overrated.

Love Five Guys (to each his own I guess). Unfortunately, they are less than three minutes up the road from me. Way too close for comfort. I try to stay away....done well so far. We've only been twice since they opened in October.

06-2004 Glyn flies to Boston for 2 week holiday with me in White Mountains
06/07/2006- HE PROPOSES!!
12/13/2006- Glyn and Simon the best man fly in for wedding.
December 16,2006- Happiest day of my life
12/25/2006- Best and worst Christmas ever. Glyn flies back to England at 6 pm Christmas Night.
02/19/2007- UK spousal visa approved in NY after only 4 days.
March 2,2007- Reunited in England with Glyn.
01/21/2008-mailed I-130 to USCIS in London
01/24/2008-NOA1
04/13/2008-Panic. RFE received
April 17, 2008-Mailed off again.
April 22, 2008-NOA2 received dated April 21, 2008.
April 26, 2008-Packet 3 received
April 28, 2008-Mailed off DS-230
May06,2008-Packet 3 sent
May 08, 2008-Medical scheduled

There was one in walking distance from my college dorm, which once resulted in a text between friends of mine that read "Jenny, I really need 5 guys tonight. Can it be your turn?" and also drained our paltry college budgets.

I love their fries!

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Many of them in the DC area. Burgers are greasy, but ok, but the grease gets to ya!, Fries are very good!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Did you get the Cajun style fries? The regular fries are ok but the cajun-style are impressive.

I ate there today too. Fully loaded + jalapenos + hot sauce....

Actually had both. I ordered regular and they dumped the cajun style in the bag over everything. I was eating those as I returned to my terminal here and they were definitely better than the regular and the regulars are good. I liked the cheese melting over all. It made it nice and I had ordered bacon and it is nice to get a fast food bacon burger where you can actually taste the bacon.

I know there aren't that many locations (I think only 3 in Michigan) but man is their food delish...Anyone been there?

MAN O' MAN this looks so good! There is one that opened like a year and a half ago 30 miles from where I live and we will definitely be visiting that joint! once I am back in the good OLD US of A! What's life if you can't enjoy yourself with a Greasy, Cheesy Burger once a year :whistle:... and oh yeah... the fries too!!!!! he he :devil:

Went to one in FL after hearing rave reviews. Yuck. Was not impressed.
