In my opinion all July filers should contact their Congressman (Hell everyone should) and have them bombard USCIS with inquries as to what the hell is going on and why U.S. citizens interests are put on the backburner.

I'm sure if they recieve enough heat things will change...way it usually works in government.

unfortunately there is no guarantee that youll be able to contact the same nice and responsible gentleman once you call back.my fiance has called 4 times now, first time a nice lady who had technical difficulties filing an inquiry was his operator.second time some douchebag who told him they will email him request for service forms ( if such thing exists ) third and fourth time toolboxes who didnt even give him the time of the day to tell them he wants them to file an inquiry.mind you we are over five months .

Good friends had their NOA2 take 10 months to obtain.... and no RFEs.

They never whined and you shouldn't either.

And you know you are not to make ANY plans until the visa is in hand.

Suck it up and be patient.

That's your 'friends' problem (love how everyone has a 'friend' when they argue a point) if he/she even exists.

Funny thing though, you're here whining about people whining, priceless.

If you don't have anything to contribute that would be of some help to the original purpose of the thread, don't bother posting rude #######.

I am a July 12th NOA1 person and I am soooo sick of this process. They are giving everyone around us answers while we are stuck waiting. I would even settle for an RFE if that meant getting someone to do something with our file. I can hardly bear reading this site anymore. I only do to see where things are in the process.

i can feel you're noa2 on its way

its only been just over 4 months.. there are members here that are still waiting well over a year for a decision from the consulate ( thats after having waited to get to the interview stage)... we only waited 16 months for our visa from when I sent the petition... immigration takes time and patience...

That is true in SOME cases.. but again that is very rare. Things are moving much faster now and if you have everything needed, than it should work out in time. Have hope! :P

@baron555 thats your friends choice and to be honest an awful irresponsible one, does not mean we will go the same way.let me guess, youre one of those people who had the whole thing done within five months and by the sixth had your wife over?

Why shouldn't they whine? 10 months is ridiculous. I've said it before and I'll say it again...your "friends'" case is not the norm, stop pushing it on people like it is.

Feg, I know the process sucks. This fall, CSC completely stopped processing I-129Fs and none of us knew why. It's so hard to wait but your NOA2 IS coming and it'll be even sweeter when it does arrive. Once you get that, the rest of the process moves a lot quicker.

Take heart. I am a July 16 K-1 filer, and I received an email and text message on Dec 1st, that we were approved November 30th. I received the hard copy of hte NOA2 in the mail on December 4th. Hopefully not too long at the NVC though!
