The Military Is About To Get More FABULOUS!!!

The fact that you cannot differentiate in controlled behaviour versus uncontrollable things is interesting here.

Hell, even the black community cannot stand their struggle being connected to 'gay rights'

Be it straight or gay, the actions that take place because of what you are attracted to are behaviours. Nothing more and nothing less.

Comparing skin color to bahaviour is completely absurd.

Look, obviously you are deeply homophobic, and have a distinctly incorrect view of homosexuals and homosexuality. I am not, and did not, 'connect' the black struggle with homosexuality, I connected those whose thinking back in the day labored mistakenly in the belief that blacks were different [and to be absolutely honest about holders of this view, inferior] and thus fought integration of blacks and whites, with the current topic of homosexuals being seen [by persons of like mind to yourself] as different, [and to be absolutely honest, inferior] and thus are fighting integration now for gays in the military.

The comparison thus was not to skin color and sexual orientation, your use of the misspelled work behavior being quite telling as indeed was your description of homosexuality as a 'behavior' phenomenon, but instead I made a comparison of bias and discrimination in the minds of those who thought roughly the same thing about integrating blacks in the military as those who today are against gays serving in the military in an open and integrated capacity.

A good soldier is a good soldier, and neither race nor sexual orientation are factors which change that.

calling me homophobic? Amusing....

As far misspelling of "behavior," you'll have to excuse as I talk to quite a few Brits/British-Canadians...

Again: Black does not equal Gay. Just as Gay does not equal Black.

Two entirely different forms of discrimination.

Gays aren't looked at as inferior. Gays aren't looked at as people who are any less educated, lesser people, etc. - Gays are looked at as people who do something that's disgusting, sinful, wrong, not natural, mentally ill, immoral, etc.

You have to understand people's difference and reaction to diffrences in "looks" versus differences in behavior.

Okay I will admit that it has been a long time since I saw the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) and I was never a JAG officer, but if I remember right there were passages about immoral behavior being a Court Martial offense. This would include taking nude photos of your SO, Adultery, and Homosexuality. This was supposedly put in place to protect both the Service and the Military member from being blackmailed into betraying their country.

Repealing "Don't ask, Don't tell" does not do anything to fix the main problem. The UCMJ would need to have this passage rewritten or stricken completely from the code.

Now those who may have more knowledge about the subject, please feel free to cry "BS".

Yes, yes you did say that. And it is virtually impossible to hold that you believe that, yet also claim not to be homophobic, but if the lies float your boat...
