What a great and well run website this is...

I for one will be forever grateful for the existance of this site and for the quality of the people who monitor and take care of the various topics. The knowledge displayed by the posters here is incredible, they have answers for everything (and sometimes they even have the correct ones  )

As a ####### rententive individual who has never been through a process like this, the chances are I would have been even more "completely" insane by now. I know there are some ads on here but they are small and unobtrusive, I only hope whoever owns this place understands what a great service they are providing.

Captain Ewok

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Moving to the Site Discussion forum from Off-Topic.

Captain Ewok is the Site Administrator - not sure if he is also the site owner or if that is in other hands.:)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Captain Ewok

And all of us, no matter race, nationality, or creed, are the children (and sometimes some of the children do need a spanking)

It is an awesome site and I too am thankful for the Capt. and anyone else who made it possible, the help I've received, the friends I've made, and hopefully I help from time to time by sharing the experiences of our continued journey.

I heard it was Spooky and Scandal, and was supposed to be dedicated to sheep, but something went horribly awry.

Thank God. This site saves $$$$, time, and sanity. As much sanity as can be saved in the immigration process, anyway. girlwerewolf2xn.gif

The rumor is untrue. Although for a time last year I actually did have a website up to track AP@NVC statistics, similar to Igor's List but just for those who got stuck at NVC.

A sheep website is very good idea however. Thanks for the suggestion!

Dude, if you start one, we'll have to bleat you about the head & shoulders, si man. ...Uh, what aspects of interrelating with sheep will we be discussing, si man?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

To find the owner of the site visit WhoisXY.com. Here they provide whois search tool which displays the details of a particular domain like domain registrant, domain owner information, contact details and so on.If that domain was registered under private registration then the registrant & some other details are hidden by proxy.
