Thank you first and foremost to all the wonderful people who were so helpful during this process! It means more to us than you may ever know.

We had our AOS interview yesterday in Orlando FL.

Our appt was at 11:15a we arrived at 10:45a to find a VERY BUSY office. We went in went thru very friendly security check, and told to put our appt letter in the window #9.

We waited till almost 1pm for our name to be called. We were greeted by a very friendly IO. She led us to her office, ask us to take an oath and then we were told to have a seat. She went thru our forms (G325A, I-130 & I-485). She asked me to confirm my info and ask my husband (Australian citizen) to verify his information and right in the middle of his information she ask him my birthday LOL. She asked us each about us being married before, ask to see documentation of joint bank account, mail to us both (we showed cards and letters from family etc), ask if I had met his family and I have not and she was ok with that since they are in Australia. She wanted to see our wedding photos, and other pictures we brought. Ask us about our honeymoon, etc. Asked him where we were married, usual things married couples should know. Nothing out of the ordinary. She was kind, she laughed and joked with us. When it was done she said she would be reviewing our file and we would hear by mail.

When we got in the car we were both shocked at how little time it took, but disappointed that we were given no indication one way or the other. I tried to look on line but our I-485 did not show up. So I don't wait well (and to be honest I shouldn't say that because we have been very fortunate to have only waited 4 months to get this far) but I called USCIS and got no information this morning so I was a little discouraged.

Thanks to the support of the people I work with and some friends I have made on this site (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE ALI AND PGM) I was encouraged to keep checking and at about 11a my I-485 showed online, and YES it said "Card Production Ordered" and if I could shout it from the tallest mountain to the entire world I would!

Thanks again to everyone, I wish everyone the very best and if I can be of any help please don't hesitate to ask!

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF OUR LIFE~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance:
