I am at the NVC stage of the process and I have sent in everything for my case. NVC has acknowledged they received my I-864 and an operator just a couple days ago said they were finished reviewing it and were just waiting on my DS 230 which I have mailed in the meantime. Today when I called the AVR they said I have an RFE for more information. Could this be a mistake?? Of course now I cannot call them until Monday!!! HELP!!!

We had a false RFE at the NVC stage as well. When we spoke to an operator she said that it must be a mistake since our case had all the required documents. Don't worry. Call back in a few days and check the status of your case

Good luck.

We also had false RFE's. Sometimes it's because they haven't put into their system yet certain forms like people have mentioned. Just wait until Tuesday and call and speak with an operator, I'm sure it's nothing. I think they're a little behind at NVC sometimes! :)

Really, don't worry I got an RFE on wednesday, waited for the email, got the email on friday stating that we were missing the I864 wich we had sent and they had recieved, we called and they told us our case was completed on thursday. So really don't worry that much it would make you sick and the you'd find out is not real.

My wife and I got an email about a week after mailing our I-864 and DS-3032. It was a checklist saying the I-864 was processed, the DS-230 I was missing and that they were waiting for us to pay our IV bill. When I called NVC they said they were still waiting for our DS-3032, which they received via certified mail on the same day as the AOS. So we emailed the 3032 to them. That was taking a long time because they get TONS of email, so we re-mailed the 3032, the very next day after signing for our second 3032, we got our email to pay the IV bill.

Not sure if that qualifies as a false RFE or and RFE or what... what do you guys think?
