POE Date : 2009-09-01
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Original date of POE was 8/31/09. My flight from London to Boston was delayed with 4 hours, so my plane landed in BOS at 9/1/09 @ 12.20 am
Immigration officer at 1st level was very friendly and he kept making jokes and trying to make me feel comfortable probably due to the late hour of arriving and my situation (pregnant with swelling feet). Immigration officer at 2nd level was not very friendly, but not rude either. She was just surprised she had to deal with 2 orange packages she got from me/embassy. She said that's the biggest package of paperwork she had to deal with lately...
Whole process at Immigration customs took about an hour...

Embassy Review : My wife was applying for a F-1 visa and got denied by the Vice Council. Few days later we went back with my then-fiance and got interviewed again by the same lady as she needed to sign a declaration for me in which I stated I was single and was free to marry my girl. Her first question was so mean and rude! She looked at my wife, and asked "It's you again?"
Next time when we need to go to the embassy I will certainly want to meet the Council Mr.Peron and complain to him that Bulgarian people were much nicer and friendly to me than my "own" people...
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
