I wanted to share a great app available free on the app store.

Its called US Citizenship 2012. Its published by Purple Buttons LLC

I find it to be a great study tool. Upon start up, it will prompt input of localized information and the questions and answers will reflect this e.g. state senator, state rep, governor, capital etc.

The app works in a flash card format but there are practice tests you can dabble in.

The only downside is there is an ad bar (u can purchase an ad-free install for $5 but why bother).

07/14/12 - N400 Fedex'd Out

07/16/12 - Received

07/18/12 - Date on NOA1

07/19/12 - Text/Email Receipt of Docs Received

07/25/12 - Date on Biometrics Letter

08/01/12 - Early Biometrics Walk-in Done

08/21/12 - Date on NOA2

08/22/12 - Original Scheduled Biometrics Appointment

09/27/12 - USC Interview

10/23/12 - Oath Letter Received

11/14/12 - Oath Ceremony!

Hi,

How are you all studying the 100 civics questions? After reading them from top to bottom a few times I got bored... As a result, I created this simple (pure html) quiz tool that I am now using:

http://mysite.verizo...CivicsTest.html

(edited to add that this link does not work - use this one instead: http://amaruk.atspace.com/tests/NewCivicsTest.html )

Perhaps you find it useful too. Feedback is very welcome.

(Yes, I know there are other online tools available for this purpose. But I haven't found one that I like)

I am not into que cards but I think that is a great way to study things like this. I might try it one day too.

Cheers and good luck to you all!

Your Link is Not working.

Please note - I have gone through this thread and added the working link next to all of the previous links which no longer work. If you are having problems and are using an old link that is why. You will get the message that it is a bad link or it is locked. Please use this link instead: http://amaruk.atspace.com/tests/NewCivicsTest.html . It is the correct link and it does work as of this date.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

:goofy: Wow Kathryn41 - thanks for that.

My husband had his biometrics last month in Metairie, LA and they were out of the booklet and CD. I "assume" the CD has the same questions as the link we have been practicing with, correct? Is there anything on the CD we might need to know about? Thanks!:goofy:

Thank you for posting about this. We found the same app on the Google Play Android app store. On the Android store it is called "Free US Citizenship Test". Here is a link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.gordons.uscitizenship2011Edition. Hmmm I'm not sure why the forum doesn't show you the whole link, but let's try showing it in case anyone wants to copy and paste it: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.gordons.uscitizenship2011Edition

Note that the app says something about being for 2011 when you install it, but the developer has indeed updated it to 2012. The first time you run it you need to know what state you are in (duh) and the congressional district you are in so that the app will know who your governor, state senators, and local representative are.

The app is slightly confusing to start using, but after that it is super easy and VERY helpful! My wife used it to help prepare for her test, and it worked great.
