Aug. 30/04... I-485, I-765 & I-131 sent to Seattle

Dec. 10/04... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport stamped)

Sept. 9/06... I-751 sent to NSC

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

Oh Man sorry to hear this. Hopefully things fall into place and work out for the best.

Just for the sake of knowing, In an event like this, if a person meets some one else and wants to bring them to the US, does canceling the initial application affect a next one?

How did you find out?? hearsay?? Or did she come clean and honest??

Well it started by seeing some photo's on Friendster, then I actually started talking to her new boyfriend, and he showed me her on webcam when I was chatting with him.. (she was sleeping)

She was lying to him about me also...

You are starting the 2009 year of truth, respect, and dignity.

I can't say I am sorry, since it is great you discovered this before your fiancée made it to the states.

I am sorry for the disappointment you must feel. But this one time disappointment is much better then the months/years of anguish you would have felt trying to figure why your relationship was not working.

You have blessed with this information. This is a blessing.

Hello all today marks the end of my journey here. I found out that my Fiancée has been cheating on me for months now. Nice Christmas persent huh. Her plan was to divorce me after 2 years and bring her new boyfriend to the states. Well glad I found out before it was too late. My letter of cancellation is in the mail today.. Anyways I want to thank all of you for your help and want to wish all of you the best of luck and a fast speedy approval. Who knows maybe I’ll be back someday. Take care and good luck. I'm not sure how to delete my timeline so it doesn't affect anyone else. If someone could let me know that would be great. Mike
