I just wanted to let everyone know that there are signs of life at VSC. Earlier this week I had very much given up hope that we would be approved by the end of the year. I couldn't believe it when received two emails from CRIS this morning regarding the approvals (the USCIS website was also updated). I have been in touch with my Congressman's office over the past few months and they called once again this week to get an update. I don't know if that is what finally got us approved but I'm glad I kept bugging them. Best of luck to those still waiting!

COngrats!!!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Congratulations!

Any k3 ( the longest visa waiting choice) approval of VSC ( the longest waiting service center) makes me feel hopeful of the future waiting. Otherwise after seeing filers waiting since 9 or 8 months and still waiting, makes me think ...there is no hope for us ( July/ August filers).

If you don't hear anything on your I-130 by the time the next processing times report comes out, assuming it moves up a month (which is a HUGE assumption), you may be able to file a status inquiry request on your I-130. Because your I-129F NOA 1 is so much farther out, you may not have a lot of near term hope in getting the K-3 approved. For the time being, I think I would be paying more attention to the I-130 dates than the I-129F K-3 dates. At the rate things are going, you might not see a K-3 approval until next spring.
