I can't contact anyone, I am not a US citizen. My husband is being passive about it. He wants to wait until we are way out of processing times before he takes any action.

He drives me crazy :)

Elbereth,

I called my Senator's local office which deals with immigration issues and they told me they would put an expedite request out for me. 2 days later I got approved. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but hey, the more people pulling for you the better, no? I say, have your husband contact everyone and anyone until you find some sympathetic soul who can get the job done.

Hang in there El,

I took a long break from VJ to focus on my wife's emotions.

Just as soon as I came back I saw others from Aug getting approved. Thens ours was next. After all of the waiting the approval seemed really fast, within a couple of touches.

As soon as they grab your packet it should get approved just as fast.
