Hi Everyone! I am a January filer with a NOA1 date of January 22nd! I am the US petitioner, and my fiance wants to come see me in the US for a short visit in June. He has a tourist visa. Have any of you had your fiance(e)s come visit you in the US? What documents did they bring to the airport? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi, Im going to visit my fiance too at the end of June, this would be the first time I visit him since I filed, all the other ones we hadnt file any paperwork, Im nervous too, in case they ask but hopefully there isnt any problems, we spent a lot of money in tickets for me and my kids. Im hoping we can celebrate together receiving some news meanwhile aIm there.

good luck  to you.r fiance

No one knows. I'm trying to be positive but the scanner from November estimates June 7th and the scanner for December estimates June 10-15th. They haven't been wrong yet so I'm inclined to assume that it'll be around then. I know we all hope for it to be earlier, I was hoping for next week since there's technically only 1 day in November without being touched. But they haven't really started good approval numbers until this week. We'll see how it continues. I suspect we might not start to see anything for January until July 5-10, which majorly sucks. It reminds me of the timeline from back in January which used to show that my NOA2 would arrive between July 31st and August 4..that's 200--204 days since NOA1.

I’m hoping for a late September POE but it all depends on when the interview is scheduled and how long it might take for my fiancé to prepare her things for travel.

Hi guys,

As an early January filer, I am also waiting for the NOA2 with much anticipation. The wait is really challenging. As much as I've tried to distract myself from the whole K1 process, it's hard not to think about it every once in a while. I miss my boyfriend and I haven't seen him since March. Sometimes I feel like I'm about to have a mental breakdown. I couldn't just visit him if I want to, I couldn't hug or kiss him. Right now I'm just trying to focus more on my work and traveling, since traveling the world would be tougher once you enter the AOS stage.

I think that's a long shot. It's taking an average of 2 months from NOA2 to interview and then it depends on how fast they give you your passport. After, it's all individually since not everyone can afford a last-minute ticket. I think (and hope) that my fiance's POE will be in October with his interview likely in September. That's all dependent of course on getting NOA2 on the estimated time of July 15-21.
