Dwheels, I need your expert advice. Please reply as soon as possible coz i'm on last step and my interview is on 1st of June. Its weekend now and Customer Service is also not available.

My wife sent AOS documents to NVC in Dec2013 and at that time, my wife dint have enuf income. So we took help of our friend and used his docs n returns as Joint sponsor. My wife was main sponsor for my case. My case took some time to get interview scheduled and now that friend got married and he needs to sponsor for his wife. However my wife got permanent now and she has required income alone.

So I've following queries:

1) Do we need to make any changes in I-864/I-864A?

2) Can we just give 2014 tax returns on time of interview?

3) Also do we have to provide 2013 tax returns too?

Your fast reply will help us get out of any problems in interview.

If anyone else has perfect solution for above, please feel free to reply back.

Thanks in advance.

DWheels: I have 2 entries on the spreadsheet; one for each case for my parents. Both have been scheduled for the same date. Only one entry was updated on the spreadsheet though. That would fill one of your slots. :-)

Fixed to just one entry.

I did track if Us Em at Montreal received one case from NVC i found one from the date May 22-29, 2015. I am hoping that this is our one.

No sorry that wouldn't have been your petition. Petitions do not go out until interviews are scheduled. K1's, reaffirms, Other types of I-130's petitions also are sent out to embassy's through NVC daily also.

This coming week should e scheduling time for July. Be aware also Canada and UK are usually one of the last embassy's to announce so don't be dismayed when they rejoice and you haven't heard anything. All embassy's do not release their schedules to NVC at same time.

So you don't want to use your friend than as a joint sponsor. You do need a new I-864 to reflect your wife's income to show she can sponsor you on her own.

1. You should have 2014, 2013, 2012 Transcripts or tax forms with you at interview.

2. You should have your wife's most current pay stub

3. Your wife's Letter of employment

I hope you have all these things already

This post just came out of frustration. Last night I called the NVC. Once I got hooked up on the line it was almost midnight here in my country. Listening to the music they generously provide us with, I fell asleep. When the older guy, Gus, suddenly started talking to me I was just 'ah...oh...blah blah blah'.. He says 'Lady, let's solve your problem first and then you can go back to sleep. how can I help you?' I cracked up. We had a wonderful, but useless chat. He announced that my "case is complete" (I knew that few weeks ago), but no interview is scheduled yet. I apologized of being half asleep, thanked him for being nice to me. He praised my dialect and wished me a good night.

This process really lifts you up into some kind of delusion stage it is almost hysterically funny :dancing:

He is the reason I know all I know about NVC and scheduling and interviews and stuff (well some of it is him teaching me) I swear we spent hours) we had a daily call. hehe Oh sweet memories.

Wow! You know him too!!! Yes, he is really exceptional: his voice and diction sounds like a good TV speaker. Too bad he didn't have any new news for me, but his sense of humor, willingness to help is awesome :)

Just popping in to say THANK YOU to everyone on VJ, especially dwheels, Saylin, and other admins and experienced vets. We had our interview on Thursday and were approved! Even better, we were approved on assets only and were not required to get a joint sponsor as I feared.

For others attempting assets only- job offers may not be of any use in meeting the minimums to get through the NVC, but I'm convinced that our job offers made all the difference at the interview in getting approved without a joint sponsor.

Best of luck to all others and thanks again to all! I don't know what I would have done throughout this process without VJ.
