Hi everyone,

Shout out to the Canadians and the MTL filers here: I got a case complete on May 12, and the confirmation email on May 19. I haven't yet received an interview date, and when calling the NVC, they said none has been set yet.

I read here and there that interviews are often scheduled in the last week/first week of the month.

Are there any other MTL filers out there with CC in May but with no interview yet? I just want to ensure I am not the only one!

Thanks

congrats and welcome to the waiting on Montreal club :) It appears there's a few of us :) My (final) CC came on 05/18 :)

Can you schedule your medical after cc or do you have to wait for interview date first?

I believe for India to schedule your biometrics you have to have your interview date. Since you do your Biometrics at a separate facility.

I'm preparing for my husband's interview next week in Kingston, Jamaica. I was wondering if anyone going through Kingston embassy had an idea if spouses are allowed into the building. Also, anyone have an idea how long after interview to have visa in hand? Thank You in Advance!

I am the petitioner. my husbands interview was April 21. I was allowed to go in the Embassy with him, no questions was ask by the security outside. also there are other Jamaican fillers who went in with their spouse after i did. hope this helps.

DWheels: I have 2 entries on the spreadsheet; one for each case for my parents. Both have been scheduled for the same date. Only one entry was updated on the spreadsheet though. That would fill one of your slots. :-)

Congratulations. That means your CC date is really 5/22 or 4/23 the email always comes 7 days later. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group.

I guess you're right with May 22 is our CC. We did not call NVC because we thought we need to wait for 60 days after Checklist response submitted on May 11, 2015, so this is unexpected. but we are happy they reviewed it early than expected.

thank you for adding me to the spreadsheet!
