Our check just showed up as processing today too! Looks like they're getting back on track! :)

Great news, They cashed our check yesterday!!!

WOOT!!

You will receive your NOA in the mail with a 1 year GC extension so you will be all set for work and travel. Praying that the 10 year rolls in before the 1 year expires.

I have a question: if they send RFEs, around what time does that happen? After biometrics or before?

I think approval and RFE comes during the same time frame usually :)

Hi Guys. My I751 and related info was sent last week and has been received according to my USPS tracking number. My questions is.....

What happens in between the period where my 2 year Greencard expires and my 10 year one arrives? It seems like the processing time if beyond the gap that I have. I have a full time job can I not work in that time??

Did you get NOA1 yet? I sent my in on the 21st. It's been over a week and I haven't receive anything nor the check is cashed. I lost my USPS' receipt so kinda in a limbo here.

I-129F NOA2 : 2012-05-15

NVC Received : 2012-06-22

NVC Left : 2012-06-28

Consulate Received : 2012-07-02

Packet 3 Received : Called DOS on 07/3 and package 3 sent out. We didn't wait for the "physical" package. My fiance' mailed DS2001 and DS230 part I

out the next day via EMS. You don't have to wait for pkg3. You can download and fill it out ahead of time.

Packet 3 Sent : 2012-07-04

Consulate Received pkg 3: 2012-07-06

04/18/13 - Able to check status on USCIS site

04/18/13 - Received biometrics notice for 5/8/13 apt

04/23/13 - Biometrics completed by walk-in

05/14/13 - I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview

05/20/13 - Text message (as of 5/19/13 I-485 interview date set for 6/20/13)06/10/13 - Status update - AP approved EAD in card production

06/14/13 - Status update - EAD/AP card mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/17/13)

06/17/13 - EAD/AP Combo Card arrival!!!!!! (I am cute looking in my picluv.gif)06/20/13 - I-485 Interviewgoofy.gif

Did you get NOA1 yet? I sent my in on the 21st. It's been over a week and I haven't receive anything nor the check is cashed. I lost my USPS' receipt so kinda in a limbo here.

I sent mine just before you and I haven't heard anything yet. Last week was a slow week, but things seem to be moving again now. It will come.

Timeline:

Dec 31st 2011- I-129F sent
August 2nd 2012- INTERVIEW- APPROVED
August 10th 2012- Visas received
August 21st 2012- P.O.E Boston!

September 11th 2012- Applied for SSN.
September 16th 2012- MARRIED!!!
September 17th 2012- Received SSN.
October 26th 2012- Sent off AOS forms.

January 16th 2013- EAD and AP card issued.
January 26th 2013- Card received in mail.

May 29th 2013- Service request, as outside of processing times.

June 25th 2013- Green card/EAD stamp received in passport. Green card production ordered!

July 5th 2013- Green card arrives :)

August 22nd 2014- Daughter Born!

April 17th 2015- I-751 Sent.

April 20th 2015- NOA 1

June 2nd 2015- Biometrics Appt.

February 2nd 2016- I-751 APPROVED! 10 Year Green card issued!

 

February 22nd 2019 Applied for Citizenship! 

March 14th 2019 - Biometrics appt.

April 23rd 2019 - Interview. APPROVED!!!!!  It took 60 days!!!

Yes. I'm 11 days away from the hitting the "30 day waiting period". ?

So it appears VSC is taking a very long nap right now...all these NOA1s seem to be coming from CSC.

2.5 weeks later and we still have heard nothing. :clock:

Yeah, only California Service Center is moving. This wait is very upsetting.

Yeah probably. I am going to try an early bio. I will go as soon as I get the bio letter. I've done that for my AOS two years ago.
