So what do you do at biometrics? Fingerprints? Anything else?

Fingerprints and a new photo for your new card. Mine was AWFUL. Their camera was set up on a weird angle. I almost expect a notice saying "your picture looks weird, come get a new one done!" because it seemed like it was to the side rather than facing me directly.

Yeah probably. I am going to try an early bio. I will go as soon as I geappointmentio letter. I've done that for my AOS two years ago.

Are they okay with that? I heard some centers are strict.

I'd normally go on a scheduled day but I am 36 weeks pregnant (high risk pregnancy) and have tons of dr appointments every week so I should prob try to go on a random day as well. Just don't want to get kicked out of there to come back when my letter says since it's 65 miles from home.

1/20/12 - NOA 1
7/19/12 - NOA 2 - YES AFTER 183 DAYS!!!
7/27/12 - NVC received
8/02/12 - Consulate received

February 2009 - began dating

May 28, 2011 - got engaged

August 5, 2011 - got married (in England)

September 29, 2011 - moved to Mexico

VISA PROCESS:

December 3, 2012 - sent I-130 to Mexico City (DCF)

December 6, 2012 - I-130 approved

December 14, 2012 - NVC case number assigned and instruction letter sent from Juarez Consulate but we NEVER received it

March 4, 2013 - called to check about our case and received our NVC case number and Invoice number

March 9, 2013 - submitted DS-260 online

April 17, 2013 - interview date - visa approved!!!

July 11, 2013 - POE: entered US through Dallas, TX

July 22, 2013 - Social Security Card delivered

August 22, 2013 - Green Card delivered

Are they okay with that? I heard some centers are strict.

I'd normally go on a scheduled day but I am 36 weeks pregnant (high risk pregnancy) and have tons of dr appointments every week so I should prob try to go on a random day as well. Just don't want to get kicked out of there to come back when my letter says since it's 65 miles from home.

Yes, I had no problems. I am an hour and a half away from where we suppose to go get it done, so it was kind of risky but I was upset with a situation. I had to go twice because my first fingerprints didn't work the first time. The first time I went on the scheduled date and it was totally empty. I was the only "customer" there. Same thing the second time, totally empty. They didn't even mentioned the fact that I was early. I just gave my papers and said "I'm here for fingerprints." Both times I went were lunch time. I wouldn't go as soon as t because usually gets more people.
