Approved on 5/26/2022. Apparently the case is sent without a review of the submitted documents and the consulate will schedule the appointment, not the NVC. Prior to receiving any notice from the consulate, I opened an account at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com and submitted a request to schedule an appointment. There is no paperwork that has to be carried anymore. Everything has gone electronic. They give you a paper stapled to your visa with the Alien Registration number. So that when you arrive in the USA the airport can pull up the documents for the point of entry process. I am so glad this WHOLE process is over with 🙌ðŸ¾. | 2020-08-09 |
