But in 2016 and 2020, at least the majority of votes matched the candidate that ran in the election, regardless of how they got the votes. This time they rigged the primaries so that the only realistic choice was Joe Biden. It was only when it became obvious that he was incapable of running even as a figurehead and would drag down every other Democrat on the ballot, that the Democrat elites forced him out and replaced him with the selected candidate. The DNC didn’t even try to use a democratic method of selection to replace him. They bet on their supporters not actually caring about the definition of democracy - and they were right. My hope is that the overall voting public think - and vote - differently.

The comment about stupid voters may be on the blunt side, but when the party that purports to want to defend democracy replaces the democratically-elected candidate with an appointed choice, on the grounds that the down-ballot elections will be impacted (Biden’s own words) and the supporters still think that the other guy is a threat to democracy, you have to wonder why. The Democrat party has already practiced undemocratic selection for the next election and is threatening to disregard the vote at that same election. Yet the other guy is the threat to democracy? The logical disconnect is astounding.

And it’s not just Joe Biden warning that there may not be a peaceful transfer of power if Trump wins in November. Members of Congress are also warning that the Democrats intend to disregard the outcome of the election if it does not go in their favor. And you can guarantee there will be actual rioting in the streets if Trump wins, the Far-Left will make sure of that.

It’s these traits that concern me about Tim Walz. What it boils down to is that he is untrustworthy. That’s not what I want in a VP.

An assault weapon ban will not move the needle on the overall fatality rate. And the argument that they didn’t have those back when the 2nd Amendment was drafted is specious at best. The amendment was drafted to enable the populace to resist a tyrannical government. In order to do so, the populace would need parity with those weapons in use by the government. An AR15 is so overmatched in that context that no sane individual should object to their possession by civilians.

And Kamala Harris’ record as a politician is that of an ineffectual, narcissistic and positively hateful person. Side-by-side, I would rate Donald Trump as the better person. And that is not praise by any stretch of the imagination.

But when 19 people died in shootings in Chicago alone over July 4th to July 7th, that’s just another holiday weekend in America. Does the Little ####### say a word about that? No. i apologize if this sounds callous and uncaring, but don’t those 19 American citizens deserve the same level of outrage as any other mass homicide event? Yet those politicians clamouring for gun control say nothing. Why? Because Illinois, and Chicago in particular, has among the strictest gun control laws in the country and they do NOTHING to lower the death rate. I am as anti-gun as you can get, but gun legislation is the coward’s way out of an ongoing crisis in America. Single event mass shooting events are statistically insignificant within the overall rate of death by firearm in America and camouflage the real problem, giving the gun control lobby a way to make it seem like they are doing something, when all they are doing is avoiding what needs to be done to make a real difference. The change needs to be socio-economic, to provide a viable alternative to the current circumstances driving the violence, the hustle and get-rich-quick mentality prevalent where the murder rates are highest. It would be a heavy lift for any politician, because there is no obvious political edge to be gained. It would be unpopular and would take character, dedication and a willingness to risk their political career. Which is why career politicians like Little ####### will do NOTHING to address the real issues. Someone needs to read the names of all the murder victims shot in Chicago, New York, Baltimore, St Louis and all the other cities in the USA over the past decade and ask him what he intends to do to prevent their deaths. His silence would be deafening. Because he benefits by doing NOTHING.

The only party actually flouting democratic norms currently is the Democrat party. Not only have the party elite handpicked a candidate in spite of their primary voters, they have members (Rep. Jamie Raskin) who have openly said that they intend not to certify a Trump win by using the 14th Amendment. And then there is the admission that the DNC knew of Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline before the November 2020 election and actively using mis-and disinformation to cover for him.

One can only wonder just how much worse it would have been if Comrade Corbyn had ever been elected.

Not knocking Singapore, I think it’s an amazing place to visit (I have my reasons). Next time I go, I will be better prepared.
