    There are reports on social media platforms from a variety of sources that Russia has supplied Iran with at least one S-500 Prometheus SAM system. This is their top-line counter-air system, reportedly on a par with anything the U.S. can field. In my humble, non-military opinion, we have two options: 1. Find and destroy. 2. Send in Special Forces and capture one. Who Dares Wins ☠️

    Not enough of them, not enough coverage, and rather initially cost-heavy. What we need are A-10s, loaded out with multiple APKWS launchers. They’re relatively cheap, but the USAF are in the process of retiring the ‘Hog, and I really hate the new OA-1K Skyraider II. Whoever approved its purchase needs to be condemned to fly one for the rest of their career. 😒

    Don’t knock the Iranian drones. Intelligence reports have Iran carrying a stockpile of around 80,000 drones and still building them at a rate of 400 per day. Yes, they’re basic, yes they’re cheap, at maybe $20K apiece. But it’s the numbers that are doing the damage. An AMRAAM costs over $1m, a Sidewinder $500K, and our SAMs are even more expensive. We will run out of missiles and money long before they run out of drones. We need another way to kill them and cheaply. Welcome to Drone Wars. ☠️

    Did the Islamic regime or their proxies ever give a Flying Burrito Brother about the children they unalived? No, the children that died were specifically targeted. Did the strikes on Iran target the children specifically? No. Is it a tragedy that children have become collateral damage in the attack on this barbaric Islamic fundamentalist regime? Absolutely. Could the strikes targets have accomplished what they have without such casualties? Absolutely not. Are we to give more consideration to our foes that they would ever give to us if the roles were reversed? That’s an interesting question. 🤔

    The most interesting part to me is that after deciding not to follow network instructions, he went on to provide a balanced take on the protests, not weighting his report to the pro- or anti- strikes side. This is what American news media has been missing. If management had prevailed, the report would have slanted heavily toward the ant-strike protests, following the agenda. Instead, we got the news. We saw what was happening, not what some empty suit wanted us to see. There is hope yet.
