Inky got a reaction from TannerH in I-864 Affidavit of Support, part 7
Assets and savings are not used unless you are trying to qualify with them for sponsoring. If the joint sponsor makes 125% the poverty guidelines on income alone there is no need for assets of any kind or bank information of any kind to be listed.

Inky got a reaction from Pearl31 in how long does it takes for the USCIS to grant expedite?
You should hear in 5-10 days from your expedite request if its approved or not. If its not approved generally they just do not approve your petition and send no notice. If its approved you would have had an approval in 5-10 days of your sending the papers in for your request.

Inky got a reaction from Andray Batungbac in 221g proof of Domicile
Proof of domicile is usually a job in the USA, Utility bills from the USA, an apartment or home lease/mortgage papers from the USA.
You will need much more than a copy of a drivers license and bank papers.

Inky got a reaction from Redox101 in Question about I-751 timeline
No she cannot get a US passport.
She would apply for naturalization at 3 years of permanent residency. Pass the test and take the Oath. Once she becomes a naturalized US citizen then and only then can she obtain a US passport.
Please check out the information on USCIS on naturalization and the guides on VJ.

Inky got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in out of status - a2 visa
IN the instructions for the application to register permanent resident status it says
You have A, E or G status or have an occupation that would allow you to have this status, unless you compelte form I-508 (I-508F for french nationals) to waive diplomatic rights, privileges and immunitys and if you are an A, or G nonimmigrant, unless you submit a completed form I-566.
so basically according to the instructions to the I-485 it says that aliens on A,G, or NATO visas can't adjust UNLESS they file a I-566 and I-508.
It seems as tho you can file your WHOLE package from WITHIN the USA as long as you include forms I-508 and I-566. Someone may correct me if im wrong but that is what I understand from the instructions.

Inky got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in out of status - a2 visa
What country?
Who told you to leave and file a K3? A lawyer? a friend?
K3 is not going to work as they are obsolite, you would file for a CR-1/IR-1.
If you leave yes you will likely get a ban for having such a long overstay. Im not familiar with A2 visa and am not sure if you would have to leave to file or not. What are the rules of the A2?

Inky got a reaction from Boiler in green card holder got divorced can i remarry and petition my new wife?
The OP is not giving us all the information here, he has other posts about his situation and is omitting things.
The OP is still married to his current spouse who he got the green card through, they have only just now started the divorce proceedings and he only has a conditional green card. He just filed ROC jointly with his current spouse and had biometrics taken.

Inky got a reaction from PolarBearCBB in PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT
Yes you can add your own terms its something that is written together. To protect both of you.
If hes writing it by himself and wont let you include anything, then I would be upset at that time.
If you are not happy with what it says do not sign it until changes are made so you are both happy with it.
Its not nice to talk about no, but things happen and you should be prepared/protected if something does.

Inky got a reaction from grad_student in Silly question about answering N/A or NONE
Actually you cant just leave all fields blank. You are supposed to answer everything even if it is with an N/A or none in the space provided. Most of the instructions even state to answer ALL questions.
- N/A is put when the question is not applicable to you.
- None is put when you do not have what they are asking of you.

No, wait for the RFE. If you dont you run a HUGE risk of them throwing it out and sending the RFE anyways.

Inky got a reaction from Ivy. in Visiting to US with pending I-130
Sorry but a green card is not a transit document. It is for living permanently in the USA. You will be wasting money and time getting a green card to use for traveling only. You will be caught if you are not living in the USA and following the terms of the green card.
Get a nexus card to travel with if you want easier traveling between the countrys.

Inky got a reaction from Lainie B in CIS Ombudsman?
Not really no, because there is nothing the obuds person can do about it. Its a physical back up of petitions going on, they cant speed that up. They work with individual case issues.
You will just waste your time plus other peoples time and the obuds persons time from helping those who really need help because their email is flooded.
