Emergency Filings of Certain Petitions: The U.S. Embassy in Cairo is currently able to accept certain emergency filings of immigrant visa I-130/I-600 petitions for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens who are normally resident in the consular districts of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Beirut and have not yet filed an immigrant visa petition with USCIS. Only U.S. citizens physically present in Cairo may file at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo for their qualifying spouses, unmarried children under 21, adopted children, and parents who have fled these consular districts.
