  1. Who is the qualifying relative for the I 601? Is this DIY or do you have a Lawyer?
  2. ToS is as always my Bible. But yes as in a lot is US Immigration there are aspects that are contradictory.
  3. They are not visitors so they will need Insurance for Immigrants, no different from what you have. They are going to need that long term anyway.
  4. What have they done to maintain their US residency? You mention health issues what is their plan to pay for these?
  5. What did a lawyer do for a tourist visa?
  6. She has done the medical? I am also unclear if you need a joint sponsor or not.
  7. Yours is obviously a more complicated case and yes I was referring to @EagerVisa Seems less common now but when ESTA first came in a lot of people who were otherwise seemingly eligible applied for a B and were refused and subsequently obtained ESTA approval. Sometimes soon after sometimes after a wait.
  8. My first thought is to get JAG involved. Obviously I know nothing about Germany and SOFA, does seem odd that to stay in Germany you need something approved that is for you to leave Germany.
  9. ESTA is possible if you have been denied a visa. A Writ of Mandamus for a B? That would be an easy resolution. And not in your favour. I think your problem was misrepresentation and the need for a waiver. They take about 6 months plus or minus.
  10. The obvious solution if you are clueless is to employ the services of an Immigration Lawyer. With you unwilling to answer basic questions I am noit sure how anyone here can help, all we can do is guess. It does sound like your sister is holding information from you for whatever reason.
  11. Not working out well in SF
  12. They should just keep the copies, I had multiple originals of everything so it did not matter.
  13. Well nobody here has such power. Her Parents sponsored her to immigrate, Consulate charged her with Misrepresentation, usually that would also produce the opportunity to file a waiver, I 601, was a waiver filed?
  14. Sounds like she can just be added to his work insurance until she gets a job with her own
  15. K1 seems a really odd choice Anyway she needs US insurance
  16. Reminds me of the Double Gazing industry. Nothing wrong with the product but attracted a lot of shysters A lot of these companies made their money out of loan originating. Think Carvana
  17. Others have used the I 864 as part of the divorce settlement
  18. Why have you not added her to your insurance What is the plan? Are you sure a Swede who ha emigrated still gets nearly free care when visiting? AP is something you can file for when you file to adjust
  19. I am sure the OP knows what the issue is.
  20. A friend of mines wife needed a lot of dental treatment, she went to Mexico, forget the name of the place but south of Cancun, a lot cheaper than the US and she got a holiday thrown in and the facilities and treatment were excellent. I am in Colorado and have heard of people going to the School of Dentistry in Denver for cheaper more local cover. Most common situation for health cover is to get added to their Spouses arrangements. I have come across a couple of cases where people have had the I 693 covered by Medical Insurance, seems very rare and always wondered if this was a mistake by the Insurer.
  21. I agree I think you are just waiting. It seems from all the cases I have seen if you have a standard case it follows a certain pattern but if you have a slightly different one and it gets kicked out then you have to wait until maybe the one person at the Consulate who can approve reviews it, that person of course may be snowed under, on vacation etc so it becomes a wait and see situation.
