  1. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-september-2023.html A few changes, F2a will not be current for adjustment.
  2. It would not be logical for a Consulate to have different requirements but what is logical?
  3. You never know but generally they are there to process cases not provide advice.
  4. I assumed she is married.
  5. Zoom tells staff to come into the office at least two days a week https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/aug/07/zoom-tells-staff-to-come-into-the-office-at-least-two-days-a-week I had to laugh, but it does say something?
  6. Should have checked, there is also mention of B2 interviews in January. Not sure if they are connected.
  7. There is no suggestion he wants the kid. The Mother seems to see the child as an a ATM. Poor child. In my mind the only place currently that has jurisdiction for Child Support is Colombia, the next issue would be enforcing any judgement but that is another issue. If she and the child somehow get into the US on any basis then all bets are off.
  8. Just wondering if this is a DCF situation, if you can manage that it would be much quicker.
  9. Has there ever been a one month US Immigrant Visa Processing time? 18 to 24 months may be more normal now. DCF may be a possibility if you have a short notice job relocation, but first on what basis are you in Russia, are you Resident?

We are now in August, the longest you could have applied for was 6 months I assume this is a B2 Medical. You filed in January or before so my first questions would be when did you file, for how long and where are you now?
  11. I 130 is to petition someone to immigrate I 134a is to seek entry for 2 years on the basis of Humanitarian Parole.
  12. Somebody needs to some basic schooling about Football. So listening to NPR and they were discussing Megs and the loss, equally embarrassing commentary, so apparently she missed by millimeters. Now difficult to be precise but more like 1,000 millimeters.
  13. He seems to accept the child is his. She is going to Georgia and leaving the child behind? Unless he lives in Georgia not sure what the Georgia courts have to do with it. Above my paygrade but Colombia should be the location for deciding this. I wonder if she and the child moved to Georgia what time she would need to live there to claim residency for this?
  14. I might wait a few months not 6 months.
  15. Parole uses the I 134a, I assume you mean Humanitarian Parole for all Cubans?
  16. It does not
  17. So he does not know if he is the father? You may wish to Google Paternity Fraud, it is rife. I have not heard of and can not think how a US Court could make someone file a CRBA, it is a potential benefit, not a requirement Child Support would be an issue for the Family Court the child is resident in
  18. Many moons ago when I had dealings with the Health Inspector, I actually know him personally so it was mainly a chat, he would need to write us up on something, a poster or something to justify his visit, we had no problems but some of the stories about other places..... A lot of his experiences were not shall we say not PC in the current climate.
  19. Parole is an executive action, I see all sorts of legal and political issues, also numerical practical ones. I 134a is of course not legal enforceable, I assume it is a Political not practical requirement. You have to express willingness, not actually do anything. I did see a F4 entrant case wanting to know how to sue for support under the I 864 the other day, now that is not likely to encourage brotherly love.
  20. I will look later, I think this was some sort of surgery where the expect was on hand remotely and maybe some of the instruments were remotely controlled?
