  1. I think Lizzo has a foot on you and a few cwt. We are getting off topic but I noticed that of late, now in Colorado we do not have quite so many ladies of size but it is enough to put you off your lunch. Makes you wonder if they have any friends?
  2. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/lizzo-dancers-weight-shamed-pressured-touch-nude-performer-lawsuit-rcna95161 LOS ANGELES — Three of Lizzo’s former dancers have accused the singer of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment in a lawsuit filed Tuesday. They also allege that she pressured one of them to touch a nude performer at an Amsterdam club and subjected the group to an “excruciating” audition after leveling false accusations that they were drinking on the job. The dancers accused Lizzo — a performer known for embracing body positivity and celebrating her physique — of calling attention to one dancer’s weight gain and later berating, then firing, that dancer after she recorded a meeting because of a health condition. The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and provided to NBC News by the plaintiffs’ law firm, also accuses the captain of Lizzo’s dance team of proselytizing to other performers and deriding those who had premarital sex while sharing lewd sexual fantasies. The suit does not say if Lizzo knew about the allegations linked to the dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, but the plaintiffs believed the singer was aware of their complaints about her, according to their lawyer, Ron Zambrano. So much for DIE. Read the article as it gets worse.
  3. I wonder what the plan is, perhaps we will never know. This does not make much sense.
  4. I find this weird, you know as a team you are disliked, but get a pass because you have previously won and then do this? Kudos for Carli Lloyd for calling them out.
  5. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-august-2023.html 15 years? I said the opposite, I like insurance especially with very long processing times.
  6. Good Insurance to have as many routes as you can. Take the first one that comes up.
  7. Her Parents can petition him. There is no transfer.
  8. When did your Mother file? Would you move with your children and without your partner?
  9. I posted the suggestion that we have a Climate lockdown in an article about Climate Change in a Progressive media source. It was well received.
  10. Now my main knowledge about Uganda goes back to Idi Amin, but I have my doubts there are many instances of men marrying ladies 30 years older than them.
  11. My knowledge is limited but seems there are 2 routes, one is as effectively a long term visitor and the other means you are buying into the system, not have contributed. Looking at it that way it is not that much. US is complicated. let us say you sponsored a Parent and lived in California, the parent gets Medicaid from Day One, what is that worth? Whatever the annual cost is multiplied by their expected life span and there may be other benefits in addition. We must be talking about a large number. Now of course CA may decide to stop doing this.
  12. I do not know what the evidence is. I do not know how the Danish Family Courts work. I do know someone who is Danish and who divorced but never asked how it worked. Even in the US annulment is not that simple and varies by State.
  13. You think this is a joined up system it is not. I would file to adjust and travel on AP, send in the receipt for the current I 130 and then however long it takes well you are covered
  14. U$U is good for 2 years, which begs the question if they have announced what happens next, nothing to my knowledge. Now here the person can file to adjust which seems simpler.
  15. I think they can do that with AC now if you sign up.
  16. We have had members apply for VAWA through Consular processing, not common, but I have seen it happen. I do not think I have come across a case where the non USC has reported their spouse to USCIS, maybe I have forgotten, no reason of course why not. I see the main benefit is that this would make it very difficult for him to sponsor somebody else. I agree with the other posters, your first focus should be getting your life back on track, filing for divorce, I think you have 2 years from the date of divorce to file VAWA. You can divorce in your home country.
  17. Probably not. They tend to look for culturally unusual situations.
  18. VAWA can be done through a Consulate.
  19. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jul/31/they-will-never-be-granted-the-visa-in-their-lifetime-the-families-waiting-decades-to-settle-parents-in-australia As processing times for some parent immigration visas balloon out to almost 30 years, the families hoping to be reunited for good are left in limbo I thought this is interesting, we talk about long wait times a lot on here, now Parents is not one of them, but it is in Australia. The issue seems to be mainly driven by Medical/Social costs, probably less an issue in the US as they are more a State rather than Federal problem.
  20. The Sisters will be about 16 and 12, so that sort of timing from a School perspective can complicate issues. Your father can not work in the US when visiting.
  21. Obviously I do not know all the details but I would be leaning to a new clean application. If you are talking about the misinformation line, then I am not sure what you can gain talking to anybody there.
  22. I assume your father is eligible to visit
