  1. He said his Father is not in position to immigrate until his siblings marry.
  2. Well California and NY are so of different, so if he immigrated he could get the Medicaid from pretty much Day 1. But that would take a couple of years.

  4. I always sort of think of this as like a Transit visa, what is wrong with a regular B? If you have a B or the VWP you can get medical treatment. I hate trying to be logical when often there is no logic, maybe people who they might not other give a B to but have all the documentation to support a medical need? But then you are likely to have the big bucks and probably a B is not an issue. Confusing.
  5. True I read it as daughters who had yet to marry.
  6. You can get an Emergency appointment, they do not expedite B's. But then you have all the Medical stuff to go through. I am sort of surprised he cannot get treatment locally and anywhere else is going to be cheaper than the US, a lot cheaper in most cases. Or he can apply for the regular system and is looking at a year out. I would imagine money will crush this anyway.
  7. If he is 70 the children are no doubt grown up.
  8. Interview Required Visitors (B1/B2) 353 Calendar Days So you are looking at about a year out.
  9. Do I need to buy insurance for him? Or he will qualify for medicare here? He is above 70. Medicare is for those people who have earned it or Permanent Residents who have been here 5 years and buy into it. I do not know how things work in Pakistan but I doubt there is anything that would cover US costs. Practically you or he will be paying out of pocket.
  10. Travel for Medical Treatment If you are seeking medical treatment in the United States, the consular officer may ask for further documents at your visa interview, which may include: Medical diagnosis from a local physician, explaining the nature of the ailment and the reason you need treatment in the United States. Letter from a physician or medical facility in the United States, stating they are willing to treat your specific ailment and detailing the projected length and cost of treatment (including doctors’ fees, hospitalization fees, and all medical-related expenses). Proof that your transportation, medical, and living expenses in the United States will be paid. This may be in the form of bank or other statements of income/savings or certified copies of income tax returns (either yours or the person or organization paying for your treatment).
  11. Does she have an offer TN is non immigrant but may have a reasonable chance

  16. So you have applied using your non Swedish Citizenship? Might make a difference what that is.
  17. They have to enter before 21, I seem to remember there was a requirement to file to adjust before 21 but that was relaxed. Court Case from memory.
  18. As an aside I am aware of a German Family who successfully claimed asylum.
  19. Why are you not eligible to use the VWP?
  20. You could file pro se, I am sure it has been done, I do not think it is that common. Going rate seems to be about $5k.
  21. No You are asking that they do their job
  22. I looked it up and there is nothing to prevent a Transgender Non Binary playing in Men's Professional.
  23. https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/25/politics/biden-asylum-court-ruling/index.html A federal judge on Tuesday blocked President Joe Biden’s controversial asylum policy, delivering a major blow to the administration, which has leaned on the measure to drive down border crossings. The judge put the ruling on hold for 14 days for a possible appeal. The ruling against the Biden administration could have major implications on the US-Mexico border, where crossings have plummeted since the rollout of the asylum policy, among other measures. A Justice Department spokesperson told CNN that the department plans to appeal.
