So he does not know if he is the father? You may wish to Google Paternity Fraud, it is rife. I have not heard of and can not think how a US Court could make someone file a CRBA, it is a potential benefit, not a requirement Child Support would be an issue for the Family Court the child is resident in

Remote work tug of war continues
Boiler replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Many moons ago when I had dealings with the Health Inspector, I actually know him personally so it was mainly a chat, he would need to write us up on something, a poster or something to justify his visit, we had no problems but some of the stories about other places..... A lot of his experiences were not shall we say not PC in the current climate. -
Parole is an executive action, I see all sorts of legal and political issues, also numerical practical ones. I 134a is of course not legal enforceable, I assume it is a Political not practical requirement. You have to express willingness, not actually do anything. I did see a F4 entrant case wanting to know how to sue for support under the I 864 the other day, now that is not likely to encourage brotherly love.

I will look later, I think this was some sort of surgery where the expect was on hand remotely and maybe some of the instruments were remotely controlled? -

To naturalise, sounds she has been a LPR for 5 years but may not meet the time in the US requirement, but if she does not want to anyway moot. -

She may not qualify. -
I have seen this quite a few times, now I do not know the Australian rules, from what has been mentioned they are different to the US and more specific. I have always assumed that theoretically it is possible to find a path between the two but may not be practical for most people.

My assumption is that there are multiple motives, I would put this in the reality vs legality category. Not a problem until it is and then he can most likely just stop. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that there is always something they can get you with, if they want to. -
Often we only get some of the story so you need to either guess, assume that what may be normal in other peoples case applies here or ask.

K-1 Travel Insurance Options
Boiler replied to Sha-Lee88's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
I am trying to remember what it was my Brother signed up for? It was something weird cost him 400 quid a year but came with Travel Insurance which has saved him a bundle. A phone plan or something, need to ask him. I have seen people use per say a lot recently, now I only did one year of Latin and I was 11 but could have sworn it is per se. One way Travel Insurance is unusual, it used to be unknown, generally Travel Insurance works on the basis the person is resident in that Country. So you are looking for something specialised. And of course there are certain commonalities but it does vary by Country. -

This is an Immigration Forum and inevitably we concentrate on the Immigration aspects. That includes Insurance and of course delaying means everything else Immigration related gets kicked down the road 3 months. From an Immigration etc perspective best to have a quick legal marriage to get the ball rolling and the celebration later. You obviously do you, but there are consequences. Back to topic, here is one source of new immigrant insurance. https://www.***removed***.com/new-immigrant-insurance/ -

I have seen this so many times in so many different cases. We must have high standards! A long list of requirements, here staff to children ratios, inspections etc etc. Well guess what that costs a lot of money, and then we get the cost complaints, well usually with NPR someone else needs to pay. I wonder if the Dentist needs a license to operate like that? I could see it getting tricky of for example he lets his staff taking it in turns to keep an eye on the children. I do know a little bit about Child Care operations and that the profit margins are very small, to operate you need a long waiting list as you need to be at close to 100% occupancy. Similar situation with elder care. Both are labour intensive operations which are difficult to outsource. I think I have seen Operations being partly conducted remotely? -

Your plan has major issues But sticking with the Travel Insurance aspect. Travel Insurance is for people who are travelling and returning to their home country. Let us say you have a serious issue in the US, the first thing they will be looking at is to get you home, Air Ambulance for example, even an Air Ambulance will be cheaper than US Hospital costs of any consequence. Just because you are on a Non Immigrant visa does not mean you do not live in the US, I can think of people who have been in the US for decades as a non immigrant legally, they live here. There is new immigrant insurance as has been mentioned, it will not compare well to your regular insurance. -
Completely lost and stuck in Russia
Boiler replied to Don4593's topic in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
Biden has changed the rules somewhat, OK they have been challenged in Court, but they hold at the time of typing. Just to show up you have to have been refused asylum elsewhere, which is somewhat unlikely, otherwise you need to get an appointment through the App. And that could involve a very long time in Mexico. I tend to think of asylum as just another way of immigrating, I think Mexico was visa free for Russians but not now so if the route you are suggesting is heading to Mexico, signing up for the App and taking your chance then yes that is currently possible. -

For some reason NPR seems to be focussing on childcare recently. They like complaining about the cost, well if you want quality child care, qualified staff etc it is not going to be cheap. Looking at the bigger picture if you do not need staff to be on site why would you pay them local US wages to work remotely when you can pay people much less to work even more remotely? I would have thought the logic would be that there will be a world wide wage for a given remote job. -
How to get a visa for my husbands sister to visit ?
Boiler replied to MrsAb2021's topic in Tourist Visas
You can see what they ask, she completes the DS 160. Interviews tend to be short, a few questions, often seemingly performative. They specifically say she should not buy tickets, I would add non refundable tickets. -

Visiting family in the US = tourism B is the only option No, they are more focussed on her going home, why would they not believe she would stay with you?
