  1. Lagos is well know for issuing RFE, the cases I have seen dealt with by USCIS seem more likely to require a waiver. This Consulate I do not know, the NOID could say how they view it at USCIS anyway.
  2. I think all the boxes have been ticked here.
  3. Where did you get 'married'. Which country is your to be husband from/in?
  4. Do not forget AP and EAD, the whole package.
  5. If you are subject to the two-year home-country physical presence requirement, you must return to your home country for a cumulative total period of at least two years before you can do any of the following: Change status while in the United States to the nonimmigrant categories of temporary worker (H) or intracompany transferee (L); Adjust status while in the United States to immigrant visa/lawful permanent resident status (LPR); Receive an immigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate; or Receive a temporary worker (H), intracompany transferee (L), or fiancé (K) visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

  13. Unless the Sponsor has naturalised Marrying kills the case.
  14. I think you have misread this post. It has been about the effect of the I 134 not the normal divorce process. It could be that the US OP would be the beneficiary of any divorce settlement, happens. I am not against Pre Nups, thinking they will save you is a bit optimistic. Plenty of examples of that as well.
  15. I think of it as a step by step process with many potential routes, you have the WoM which should move it on, quite which direction it takes is another matter.
  16. I 130 and possibly I 485 etc Obviously impossible to be definitive with no background information. Start by reading the guides
  17. It would not make you legally married in the US or the UK
