    I just wanted to let everyone know that we got approved yesterday with no issues what so ever. Sorry for all my anxious posting. Atleast we are now living proof that you can still be approved despite many weird small things that could have caused an issue and random status updates!

    Gosh that’s sad have you done an enquiry you are supposed to email for the case number so you can move on? 😕 I’d even just like an NOA2 at this point atleast then we know something hasn’t gone wrong

    I’m thinking maybe we call again soon… starting to wonder if it’s the fact that we had 3 document returned status updates in January? Maybe our account had glitched? We are even worried that we perhaps have had an rfe or a NOID and it’s been missed because of the status updates of document returned… something isn’t right I feel it really strongly that something isn’t right and no one will listen to us. We did call about it back in February and was promised a call back but only got an email from a tier 2 officer but it didn’t sit well with me and didn’t answer our questions. It only stated that we had requested the NOA1 again and that was returned. It didn’t mention anything about why we had 3 of these status updates within 3 weeks of each other and also didn’t state what/if we needed to do. It just said that if we had our reciept number that we are processing normally but I don’t believe that for a second after the fact that we are a clean case and now they are on October … I’m clearly the only one here on this forum waiting from August 2023 now so perhaps we call again and mention that we know most of August has been processed?

    We have assumed slow denial at this point due to perhaps sending too much evidence and looking too married, so we have started making wedding plans instead to cheer us up and once we get the bad news we can just press play on all the wedding plans we have made and at some point next year we will get married and file for a CR-1. If we have to wait another year we are atleast gonna try and have our dream wedding rather than feeling like this wait was for nothing. We decided to just get the track my visa now premium so unless we get an email from them with an approval we assume we will be denied. We don’t check anything anymore and I’m visiting him right now and we are having the time of our lives. This is such a cruel process. To think there are people crossing the border on a tourist visa, suddenly getting married and then adjusting status is sickening and is an insult to people like us doing the right thing and getting penalised for it!

    I believe they scan the USCIS data actually and it isn’t based off of users they have. They have data for all cases submitted to USCIS. This was all discussed in some detail on the discord a while back. That’s why they now do a paid service. I don’t personally pay for it. but I understand your point on that. I don’t track my own progress using it I just like to keep up to date with which months are currently being processed.

    Ah got you! Which one is can I ask? They just say California for us? they didn’t process anything on Thursday or Friday so was there a national holiday or something?

    Of course! Here you go! We had this status on 2nd, 11th and 19th January. Our first time getting this was October. We requested the document over the phone and got nothing. In December (as they told us to contact after 30 days) we called again and they processed another copy to be sent to us which we received on December 26th. Then the multiple document returned statuses happened. We think the original document keeps getting returned so the cycle would never end. When this happened on the 2nd we did an e-request but never got anything back. Then the two others came a week apart after that and we just thought something was weird since we are still at NOA1 stage so we just called for tier 2

    Hello guys, There’s been no cases processed since Thursday. I thought it was odd so I checked USCIS website and it says the California office is closed from March 15th due to “facility issues” until further notice. Does anyone have more information on this? I really hope they reopen Monday and we aren’t all delayed for weeks…

    Yes. We had three of these in January even though we didn’t request our document 3 times. We already have two copies of our NOA1. Instead of making the admin loop worse we decided to contact a tier 2 officer to see what the issue was and if we needed to do anything. We received this email from a tier 2 officer (attached) and to be honest we are convinced even after this email we are on a pile collecting dust somewhere because we haven’t done an e-request (but we don’t need to since we already have this document) and they have told us our case is processing. we aren’t sure if after this email we need to do anything else. It’s a horrible situation to be in. We don’t know what to trust. The status update tells us our case will be destroyed in July if we don’t make an e-request. This email says otherwise.
