  1. Apart from maybe 2 specific locations the Master is always in charge of the ship. Not the Pilot. There are a lot of pipes and the boat is pinned so it needs to be released, if it is still stuck I would think they will start taking off the cargo.
  2. @Tomir is not the only one I have seen where a second application for some reason has got stuck and the best option in that case is some political heat.
  3. The State of Maryland? Or the ship operator? Under Marine Law the owner is responsible for the operator.
  4. Diversity Visa? www.aila.org for a Lawyer
  5. This is the sort of case your Congressperson can resolve.
  6. The Companies only asset is the ship, I assume their liability will be the value of the ship bplus the freight, but the US element is unknown to me.
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/01/adidas-bans-fans-from-adding-44-to-german-team-football-shirt Adidas has banned football fans from customising the German national shirt with the number 44 due to its perceived resemblance to the symbol used by Nazi SS units during the second world war. The Schutzstaffel (SS), a paramilitary organisation of Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich, was tasked with carrying out the industrialised genocide of Jewish people across Europe. Concerns over the jerseys were originally raised by the historian Michael König, who said the kit’s design was “very questionable”. The German away kit also provoked controversy due to its pink colour. Supporters say it reflects Germany’s diversity, while critics claim it is untraditional and a cash grab organised by the German Football Association (DFB).
  8. That is what I was afraid of, may not work with Canada. Maybe speed up the apartment and daycare enrollment
  9. The big thing for Canada is US Domicile, how will you be addressing that?
  10. I read that they were rejecting cases for the wrong fee last week, a bit premature.
  11. I assume Ankara is an option, but yes she needs to attend the interview. My Mother was in a wheelchair last time she visited, now she did not need to attend an interview, the biggest issue was Travel Insurance, I think 2 weeks cost the same as her return flight. Now I have no knowledge of the Turkish Insurance market but you might want to check that out, it will only get worse as she gets older and her medical issues worsen. I am sort of assuming that if she can get to the Airport she can get to the Consulate.
  12. I never thought she could speak English, not sure why that is relevant. I assume she is interviewing in Turkey. To take her to the Consulate, seems extreme. Why?
  13. 6 to 8 months, I have seen odd quicker cases.
  14. Here it is Less than 10 K3s are issued every year, I do not see that changing. I am not sure when we last saw a K3 on VJ, nearly 15 years ago. I can not help think of they do start issuing them we will see a lot of upset people. I do not think there is a requirement for K3s to take the same time as K1s, all the people I have seen of late anticipating speedier processing times have been disappointed.
  15. The only thing I can think of is if she got herself a good job she would be silly to leave, but at 72 that seems unlikely.
  16. You tralise the beneficiary will not be able to work for some time? The Consulate will consider the totality of the situation
  17. Israel has given the UN a proposal to dismantle Unrwa, its relief agency in the Palestinian territories, and transfer its staff to a replacement agency to make large-scale food deliveries into Gaza, according to UN sources. The proposal was presented late last week by the Israeli chief of the general staff, Lt Gen Herzi Halevi, to UN officials in Israel, who forwarded it to the organisation’s secretary general, António Guterres, on Saturday, sources familiar with the discussions said. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/mar/31/israel-plan-un-dismantle-palestinian-relief-agency-unwra
  18. Jasmine I have seen before and well yes. Nicole was new to me, well there had been prior ones if memory serves me right, and she does seem particularly odd, I assume there is an interesting back story.
  19. This is quite good at showing the extent of Liability Insurance, the damage to the ship does not look that bad. He does get some of the terminology mixed up. The big thing is the extent of Insurance coverage is not related to the Owners liability, which I assume in this case will be significantly less. He also mentions losses where it seems highly unlikely there could be a claim He mentioned he will have a Maritime Lawyer on.
  20. Well I watch part of the show today, the first time for a long time. Crazy Red Haired lady on Santa Monica Pier And the one who wanted her to be to fork out 5k for a Lawyer, if you want a Lawyer you pay for it.
  21. So you will be interviewing on Lagos, presumably she will be visiting you in Nigeria. Have you previously been married Have you applied for a tourist visa
