    I am not sure I would worry about it too much at the moment. You just filed so it will be say the end of 2025 before this becomes an issue and who knows what the situation will be then. Certainly at the moment you are looking at a grand for the waiver and a couple of year delay. But this can also change. It seems from what I have seen that they have been pretty generous with waivers. You might need legal help.

    When your wife gets her Green Card she can file an I 130 to sponsor her child, your adult step son. Just checking but how old was he when you married. If the son, dual, is over 21 he can also petition him.

I would always go for consistency Made me think of terms in Latin Script that can be very different but mean the same: US uses the term Seniors English uses Old Age Pensioners French translates as The Third Age I am sure there are many more. They all mean the same.

    I am fascinated by the Media reaction, it looks like they all went on the same trading programme. I have very little faith in politicians, well none, and I feel like I should be surprised by the race to the bottom.

    The vast majority of cases are very simple. Sometimes we see more interesting ones on VJ but the people I personally know, I would describe their cases as very simple. Neither of us can prove this unless there is some sort of official statement and it could be coincidental but it seems to happen prior to every election.

    I looked back at your prior posts and saw you were considering DCF now that would be quick. Well in US Immigration terms. I could interpret your reasons in many different ways so can not comment on their validity. I do know that expediting is very common, and the system they now have in place seems to be a pre screen and if you pass that it is looked at in detail. It appears to me the issue is that you have not passed the pre screen. Yes you can have a Congressperson forward your application.

    I have noticed that prior to previous elections they seem to have a push to get as many people naturalised as possible.

    I do not seem to get stamps in my Passport anymore. I can see how being on active military duty would hel, mind you that is a lot of active duty. I was thinking of the sort of situations where this could apply and had come up with Prison!
