  1. And just for clarity, it was exactly 22 days in total overall - passports sent via courier on 3rd March, received back by courier on 24th March. Hope that helps and hope you get yours back soon.
  2. Mine was 16 working days (O visa, in March).
  3. Much quicker than that, depending on how quickly you pay the fees, complete the DS-260 and submit the docs. Timeline for being DQ’ed after all that is around 2 weeks (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html) and then London is one of the quicker consulates for interviews - I was DQ’ed late April and have my interview in mid July. So if you submit by the end of the month she could have an interview around October time. Good luck.
  4. Fab, that can be added to the table too. If you’re close to your son aging out then I really hope your PD becomes current very soon, must be incredibly stressful for you. Best of luck.
  5. Which consulate will you be interviewed at? It would just be useful info to add to the table for when the time comes. Good luck.
  6. You might want to tag him/her (use the @ symbol) so they get a notification and see your comment. I’m not sure who you mean so haven’t done it for you!
  7. Congrats on sorting it. What a palaver! Hope you got a money order for the next lot of fees too to save having to fly back again. 😆 Good luck with it, hope you get a positive result. I'm EB1A too, had medicals today and just waiting for interview now before hopefully moving in July (applied in Feb). It's all been super quick and gone very smoothly, hope you have the same experience.
  8. All good I think - assuming we don't get a phone call in the next week or so re: the chest x-ray/blood test/urine sample anyway! Hopefully all clear though so interview next. 😁
  9. Just in case it’s useful, it now says ‘Ready’ and says it’s at the consulate as of today. So that’s about 10 days after receiving IL. Medicals tomorrow! 🙂
  10. Just to clarify, the wait times I mentioned were only for the wait for an interview letter once your PD is current and you are added to the queue for an interview - and none of us can even guess how long it will take for your PD to become current. It could be way longer than 2 years. All you can do is keep watching the Visa Bulletin and hope that it moves soon. As for the process once it is current, it’s all very clearly set out on this page - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html
  11. You've now given the info that people needed to help you (which consulate you'll be interviewing at). There are some consulates where applicants only have to wait a couple of months once their documents are accepted, others have a 2 year queue for an interview. So no, there is no 'how long USUALLY', as it really varies. But for the DR, this thread will give you an idea, seems like it'll be around 5 months or so (possibly a bit longer as your visa category won't be prioritised, unlike CR1's) once you're DQ'ed. Good luck.
  12. Your question isn't clear. What's next will depend on where you are and what process you are following, I thought you were outside the US but now you're talking about AOS?
  13. And that may well be it, but I've not seen anybody else with a 3 year wait, even for Nigeria. Hopefully the OP is already on the case, has chased it up and is checking their online status, but it's worth flagging to him just in case he's had a IL that has gone in to his junk mail and been missed.
  14. And have you contacted the Embassy to ask what the hold up is? You should have had your IL by now. What does your CEAC status check say?
  15. Ah, yes, different procedures everywhere. Not required before interview in London AFAIK.
  16. Where have you read you need to book biometrics? I thought we didn't have to?
  17. Yes, exactly. If his PD is 2013 then it became current in 2020 (ish) and so that's a 3 year (ish) wait for an IL, I've not heard of any longer than 2 years. If I were the OP (and his PD is definitely correct) I'd be kicking up a fuss by now.
  18. Yes, it does - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/hepatitis-b-vaccine/#:~:text=These doses are given at,and 1 year of age. It depends on the age of the person though, my children both have Hep B but not Hep A, my husband and I have Hep A but not Hep B as when we were babies it wasn’t given. So we’ll all need at least one jab at our medical next week!
  19. As above, your case won’t be transferred to the consulate until you have received an interview date - I got my IL on Saturday and 5 days later the status changed to ‘in transit’. How long the IL takes will depend on the backlog at your consulate, some have only a wait of a few weeks, others have 2 years from DQ date to interview. I’m afraid I have no idea about Panama City but it might be worth searching the forums to see if you can get an idea of how long it’s taking at the moment. Good luck.
  20. They should be on it already if the I-140 was filled out correctly, your fee bill should be for all 3 of you and there should be a section for each of them with a DS-260 link. Check with your employer or their lawyer to make sure they were included and ask them to contact USCIS to correct the error if they were. Just FYI, it may be best to start a new thread with any questions in the relevant forum as not many people will see it here. Good luck.
  21. What is your exact PD? It’s current and probably has been for quite some time so I’m confused as to why you haven’t had an IL yet if you’ve been DQ’ed since 2020. It would be helpful if you filled in your timeline so that when you ask questions people can see the info they need to help.
  22. I'm just gathering all our paperwork for ours which is next week, the confirmation email does say urine sample is only for those age 18-24, just to confirm what @LaJumpa said. My 18 year old daughter was most disgruntled when told that! 😂
  23. What visa category and country is your immigrant visa? Just wondering if you may be close to getting it so may not need to bother with the F1, or if you’re still a long way off.
